This is a 3 ply corespun fiber on string not like other brands that are multi plies of twisted sisal. If the rope becomes untwisted at all the short fibers of the sisal come off the corespun strings. While it is wonderful scritchy I would not have ordered this

This rope came extremely fast and is a decent quality. Its thinner than I expected and feels dryer and more flimsy, than I'm used to it being, butter the purpose of creating cat scratch posts, it'll do. It weighs about 11 pounds but is wound tight, which is great, especially when you have a limited amount of storage area. The price was beyond reasonable and f.c.c
