This is a great TV for people who want one without the compromise of having a large black rectangle sitting on the wall when it's off. If you're looking at this TV and the aesthetics of it are not #1 or #2 on your checklist then you're better off getting an alternative which will give you better picture quality and interface software at a lower price. For an average user the picture quality is good enough, and the sound from the TV is surprisingly clear and loud. Not good enough to replace a soundbar, but enough to make you think twice about ruining the clean look against the wall. The included mounting bracket is fairly simple to install, gives you a very flat and tight installation. It also has the simple but extremely helpful ability to adjust the TV to ensure it is level post-mount. Some paintings, depending on your lighting and arrangement, will look more realistic in art-mode than others. Enough to fool anyone? No. Good enough to make a wall look nicer than having a black box on it? Yes. The software for the TV and it's available storage are quite simply terrible. The low amount of storage provided is a joke (less than ~2gb of usable space) and has a real cost against the amount of applications and pictures you can store on it. This also likely plays some role in causing applications to run very slowly and to frequently hang/glitch/have issues loading. Again, to my main point, if your #1 or #2 priority is to ensure this TV looks good on your wall then this is remedied by relying on an Apple tv/Chromecast/Roku, etc. as your primary interface to load content. The Samsung software otherwise has very odd nuances and software annoyances which could easily be fixed with some attention from Samsung, however, based on the amount of issues that have been posted to their forums from users and the amount of time that has passed since then, I wouldn't hold my breath on seeing any of these updates coming through any time soon. One happy example is that if your TV is connected via an ethernet cable to your network the mobile phone application will not be able to connect to it in order to manage artwork or other settings. Switching your TV to Wi-Fi will fix this issue. Samsung's response is to indicate that this is a local network issue to deflect blame instead of asking whether or not there are any differences in your home network or to take into account that others have raised the exact same scenario also citing that there are no Wi-Fi versus ethernet differences. It's a bug in their software that you'll either learn to live with, or not... The quick connect box is a great design, requiring only a single fiber cable connection from it to the TV for power and all audio/video/network connectivity. This allows the box to be neatly hidden away along with any devices you'd usually need to connect to the back of your TV. The remote is RF based so you won't need line of sight in order to operate it. ... show more

    • Really nice but a couple glaring issues
The quality is really good but the screen is still a bit bright to look like a true photo hanging on the wall when it is slightly dim in the room. What was most frustrating was that the product comes with a large box (approximately half the size of a shoe box) that has to connect to the TV externally via a single thin wire. The idea here was to cut down on the amount of cords dangling from your TV so you only have the one little wire. Well all of my wires are run through the wall and you cannot, or at least are not supposed to, run this wire through the wall. It seems extrenous and poorly thought I out. The TV is really nice and looks great, but I dont think the cost is justified considering the hanging picture feature is not completely convincing and that stupid external box. ... show more

    • One connect cord too short. Longer cord costs $300!!
I don’t normally review. We bought this to have tv flush to wall and the only way to do that is with the one connect cord and box, which is a great idea. Only problem is the cord they give is 5m(16ft) long. The location I want the one connect box is only 7’ away, but when you run the cable up the wall, over and back down the wall it’s not long enough to go this short distance. There is a 15m(49ft) cord, but Samsung sells it for $300!!! One third of the cost of the 43” tv I purchased. The cheapest cord I can find is $190, which I still think is way overpriced. Samsung should provide a longer cord if they want to have this feature work as intended. Called Samsung and they said, too bad buy a longer cord. Other than that the tv is great. Nice flush mount, looks like a picture frame, good quality picture and photo art features are great. ... show more

I have been very disappointed with this TV. While the picture is bright, sharp and clear, people's speech is not in sync with their video image. People's voices are noticeably behind the movement of their lips. I have tried using the built-in speakers, a Sonos sound bar via eHDMI and the sound bar via the optical Toslink output. The eHDMI feed is the best but it's sound is still noticeably behind the action on the screen. It is puzzling that others have not complained about this problem. The other features of The Frame are great. It looks good and is flat against the wall. When it is off it displays artwork and photos. It fits in well with our living room. For people that want to feed the connecting cable through the wall or through a conduit I'm attaching pictures of the plug that attaches to the One Connect Box. This is the smaller of the two plugs on the interconnect cable. Its dimensions are as follows: HxWxL = 1/2" x 1" x 1 3/4". The extension that actually plugs into the socket is centered on the end and has the following dimensions: HxWxL = 5/16" x 3/4" x 5/16". ... show more

This TV is amazing and we love it! The packing provided lots of security and it arrived undamaged. We managed to hang it up ourselves. The instructions were a little hard to follow but that could be because of our lack of experience. The pictures for the different mounting surfaces we're unclear. Not being professional installers, we definitely watched a few YouTube videos for tips. The template provided was helpful in that it enabled us to position it where we wanted before drilling. Since we were doing it ourselves, we went with the studs as we were not confident in the drywall installation. Setting up the TV once it was mounted was a a breeze. The picture quality and sound are great. We hate that the single cable is not wall rates but we knew that before buying and we've been able to hide it w some creative decorating. ... show more
