This is a replacement for the replacement, LOL. The remote that comes with the Samsung television is ridiculous it is so small hardly any buttons so you don't know what you're pushing and when my mother visits her arthritis is so bad she can't hold it in her hand. So I ordered this exact same remote a while ago it works wonderfully no problems put batteries in it I always swap out the batteries that it comes with, and it's ready to go. But, like all things this needed to be replaced simply because it was time to replace it. Just stopped working, change the batteries and nothing worked ,rebooted the TV , nothing .I finally got out the other remote and everything worked so I knew it had to be replaced. Got it the next day and we're good to go it's an excellent price for a great remote ... show more
