This is by far and away the best phone on the market. When opened it is actually larger than my last phone and when closed, it easily fits in any pocket. I-Phone has nothing like it. Now step back. At first, based on my headline, you would think that I am about to bash on this phone. Well, I am but first I wanted to talk about what did I love about this phone. First, of course, is its foldable screen. Now I will say that this is purely, beyond a shadow of a doubt, a gimmick. It doesn't make the phone better. It doesn't make it faster. It's 100% just to have a foldable phone. That said, it does drastically reduce the size that it takes inside your pocket. Not to mention its sleek design given off by the smooth surface of the outside. This is quite a beautiful phone. HOWEVER, I have doubts that this phone had gone through much testing or that this technology is not ready for such daily use as not even a year later; To no one's surprise (I guess besides my own), the phone's lower half screen had completely turned a solid color. A whole grand down the drain. There was nothing I could do. Sure the amount of personalization was cool. Having a smaller screen on the outside when folded to see notifications without having to open the phone was neat. It even lets you add pictures or even gifs onto it which was insanely cool. Unfortunately, the fact of the matter is that this phone is a gamble. Unless you're one of those sheeple who buy a new phone every time one of these phone companies breath, I suggest you look for a cheaper alternative. After a 7 year hiatus from Android, I was excited to return. I "upgraded" from an iPhone 6s to this one (Z Flip3 5g), and was very excited to have a new, working, phone. Issues: 1. Bloatware!!! This is the reason I'm returning the Flip3 in favor of keeping my "ancient" 6s; Samsung sells a $1000+ dollar phone, and offensively installs over 100 apps (this is a lower bound; see "remove flip3 bloatware" on Google for more info on just HOW bad it is!) and libraries which shouldn't be on the phone. The phone comes with "Samsung TV Plus", OneDrive, Microsoft office (but no subscription?), LinkedIn, "Samsung Free", the list goes on and on. If you uninstall these apps, they reappear after a few minutes (!!!). Some of the more concerning of these is "space saving" apps which you can't uninstall, which have access to everything on your phone, and which have been observed sending sensitive information over regular http (ie plaintext; viewable to anyone) to the "360" company in China. This company is notorious in China for data misuse, and none of the data sent has anything to do with "saving space"?? Quite frankly, this is disgusting and egregious. I gave you over a thousand dollars for you to give brilliantly engineered state of the art hardware, and then ruin it for me by trying a few extra bucks on the side?! 2. This isn't a "flip" phone. You can't actually FLIP the phone open or closed! The hinge is quite stiff and requires two hands, or CAREFULLY, one hand. I worry about dropping it when folding it open or closed, and I'm a 6'2" guy with large hands. Finally, I don't understand why the phone folds?? Folded closed, it's awkwardly thick in my pocket even without a case. You can do some cool multitasking, but the controls for that are clunky. I love Samsung as a hardware company; I closely follow their ingenuity in display manufacture, I follow the chips they produce, and I admire the technology they create, but what they're doing with their phones is an insult to the customer, full stop. It's a shame too, as the hardware and engineering in this phone is incredible, but Samsung makes sure you'll never get a chance to enjoy it. ... show more

Best feature is that it is Small compact and easy to use. Good for a person that is is not or does not depend on being a social media junky (Ie.. on YouTube, tictok , FB, ect..24hrs a day, needing to take a selfie every minute, ect..). Otherwise the Battery will last long. If you “Live” on your phone, don’t buy this version, get something with more battery life, or carry a charger. For daily connections great to get notifications on cover screen, answer phone, and other small task without having to open phone, along with playing music, ect. ... show more

The phone works absolutely perfectly. The fingerprint identification on the phone is just as good as the iPhone. The gimmick behind the phone is pretty cool too, just to be able to fold your phone and have to put it in your pocket is amazing due to the fact that it will be hard for someone to snatch your phone or for your phone to fall out of your pocket. The camera is absolutely amazing on the phone, the phone it’s self comes with a screen protector already on it. Also I switched from the iPhone To this phone and I do have to say it is a breath of fresh air to go to a phone that’s different. My wife got this phone and I had to get one. It does everything my BIG Samsung phone did but folds up to fit in any pocket. Yes, the battery is a bit smaller due to the fact they only had half the phone to put it in but it lasts all day and still has 40% left. I got the case for it and I love it. Your middle finger fits through the ring and it provides excellent support. My wife went without the case as she is not the klutz I am and it looks so good. ... show more
