The water is collected from rain barrels outside, but left out in the sun the water gets too hot and the plastic jugs become brittle. Very well made, thick and sturdy. I'm using it mostly to keep my dog's bowl on as she drops pieces of food when she eats. The edges are high enough to keep it under control so I can clean it up. It's plenty big for other things and I have my snow boots there, too.

This is exactly what I needed. Living where we get all the seasons. We track everything inside the house. As you can see it helps keep my floors clean and all that dirt is collected. It’s thick enough material. Easy to clean. Great quality. Black color helps it not look as dirty as it is.

The reason why we bought this is because my 12 year-old Shih Tzu terrier has issues going up and down the stairs to go outside through the doggie door, but she can come in easily when I’m not home. I put it down so she’s able to go on this if she doesn’t want to use a pee pad The appearance looks just like grass. It doesn’t leak. It’s very easy to use works well. The durability is incredible. The only thing is if you don’t clean it, it does begin to smell like piss cause at first I didn’t think my dog was using it, but she was and I ended up noticing the smell so I ended up washing it and I’m very glad that I bought this ... show more
