I’ll start by saying a riser desk is a health requirement! After 3 years of sitting and working from home I developed a SEVERE case of sciatic pain and probably some nerve damage. I started going in the office once a week and started standing with my office riser desk. Although it was a little uncomfortable standing I stood for about 4 hours and the pain became less uncomfortable. Sitting forces everyone to lean forward which puts a lot of strain on your back and neck. I have an office set up downstairs with an executive desk so the days the sciatic pain was too bad I wanted/needed something upstairs. This riser desk is perfect in many ways: it rises higher than I expected (definitely higher than the one in my office), probably goes lower than I need, has 3 self-programmable settings, is easy to assemble, has storage hooks on both sides of the desk, a cable management “tray” and is a third of the price for a similar riser desk at a brick and mortar store. As for assembly. The box and packaging was perfect with lots of foam cushioning so nothing was dented or damaged. The instructions were clear where it was needed and the illustrations were large so I didn’t accidentally connect anything in the wrong direction. There was even a business sized card with a QR code to watch an installation video. I didn’t use it or need it so I can’t really comment on that. The desktop comes in 2 sections, but it appears that the way you install it makes it very sturdy. It says the desktop will hold 176 pounds. The one advice I’ll add is it say to use a screwdriver or drill for assembling the top. The holes are tight so if using a screwdriver make sure the Phillips end isn’t chipped. You’ll also need a good grip and strong wrist. Yup, it’s that tight!!! Because I have nerve damage I started with the screwdriver and finished it with a screwdriver drill - an electric screwdriver doesn’t have enough torque to do this job. The 2 center screws by the legs you may need to use only a screwdriver as it’s hard to get a drill in there. Also it’s almost impossible to mess up the screw heads with a drill, but make sure you the correct sized screwdriver bit to get a good “bite” on the screw. I set mine up by myself in about 45 minutes. This desk comes in multiple sizes and colors so you cannot go wrong on a pick unless your spouse tells you that you picked the wrong color. Just had to take another glance at mine. LOL Not much else to add except I would recommend getting a drafting stool for health reasons and for easier transitioning from sitting to standing and an anti-fatigue mat to stand on. Very pleased with this desk!

I am in love with this desk! I recently started a remote job and wanted a simple stand up desk. It was time consuming but easy to assemble thanks to the clear picture instructions. It is very sturdy & holds my 2 monitors, a laptop, docking station, keyboard & mouse perfectly fine. But my favorite part is the stand up feature!! This desk is so simple to change from sitting to standing. The electronics are simple to use and sturdy, so I know my equipment is safe while the desk moves up and down. It also moves up & down at the perfect speed. It’s not too fast or too slow. I absolutely love it! I’d recommend this desk to anyone looking for a simple yet sturdy stand up desk. I was a little nervous about buying this desk because I wasn’t sure what to expect for the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. It arrived securely packaged with all the necessary parts included. Assembly was straightforward for one person and took about 20–30 minutes. It would probably be even quicker with a drill, but I was able to assemble everything using only a screwdriver. The desk itself feels sturdy and well-made. It’s perfect for studying, and I love that you can program up to four different height settings. Nice Desk, Great Price, Smooth Functionality!

I'm loving this height-adjustable desk for its simplicity of design, perfect size, and smooth operation. The desk offers a sturdy and stable platform for my computer and accessories. Especially nice is the 4-preset button command center, which allows you to pre-set your desk to four different heights to include standing or sitting positions. The assembly was not particularly difficult, but care needs to be taken to insert the parts in the right places. The adjustable height allows me to dial in my comfort zone to the millimeter. There is no wobble on this desk, and it operates smoothly without any fear of things falling off the surface. One thing to keep in mind is cable management. As a desk that can change heights, you need to make sure that items on your desk have enough cable slack so when you extend the height, they don't get pulled off the surface top. One thing I was disappointed with is that the desk surface is made of particle board, which tends to chip and fray at the edges, especially in the front where you mostly rub against it with your arms or body. I found a third-party solution with a metal IKEA desk mat that perfectly covers the edge of this desk and makes the whole thing solid. I have been very happy with this purchase, and for the price, it cannot be beat! Other tables in this range are much more expensive. Additional features include headphone and purse hooks, which help keep things a bit tidy. The legs are metal and solid. Taking one star away due to the easily damaged top surface – thankfully, I was able to correct this with the IKEA desktop cover. ... show more

Amazing! Grab the warranty!!

This desk has been gray over the last five years. It’s pretty durable, but if you’re moving, definitely take the time to take it apart, even if only removing the legs. However, if it does break the company behind, it is amazing over the years they have sent me multiple parts. No questions asked! Make sure you register it for the warranty. I was able to put this together pretty quickly by myself with a small power drill. (I felt so accomplished.) it’s not too big. In fact I wish I would’ve gone a little bigger but the comfort level and the alignment is perfect. I got the color black and the appearance is great. Around year three there were some issues adjusting it. (this was probably my fault.) but the company sent me a new piece and it’s perfect again! ... show more

Great Standing Desk – Smooth and Stable

I recently purchased this standing desk and have been very impressed with it overall. The motor is extremely quiet when raising and lowering the desk, which was important to me, and it moves smoothly without any jerking. I use two computer monitors on pedestals, and I was pleasantly surprised that they stay completely stable while the desk is in motion—no shaking or shifting at all. Assembly was straightforward and easy to follow, which made setup quick and stress-free. I was hesitant and I shouldn't have been.

Overall a fantastic desk, setup took around 20-30 minutes maybe? Take a look at the photo carefully, this desk has split down the middle lengthwise, something I did not realize when I ordered it. But it ended up not mattering because I use a huge mouse pad which covers it anyways. I work from home and wanted a standing desk, this is STURDY, I really enjoy being able to program the heights as I see fit. I'm around six feet tall and weigh 280lbs and I've rested my elbows on this while reading all ready whil standing. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again! ... show more
