Features

  • The S22 uses a flat (noncurved) 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with adaptive 120 Hz refresh that dynamically adjusts between 48 120 Hz depending on content which means smoother scrolling and better battery efficiency when high refresh isnt needed.
  • Its main rear camera features a 50 MP sensor with what Samsung calls Tetrabinning, delivering stronger detail in bright light and surprisingly good lowlight photos compared to many older flagships.
  • The build quality is designed to feel premium and durable: it uses an Armor Aluminum frame combined with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on front and back, which gives better scratch and drop resistance nice if you want a relatively compact but rugged flagship.
  • For video content and editing, the S22 supports 8K recording rare for a smaller flagship. That means you can shoot very high-resolution video, useful if you care about futureproofing footage or cropping/editing later.

  • Smooth Performance and Beautiful Design
Service provider: Unlocked Color: Bora Purple Size: 128GB
The Samsung Galaxy S22 in Bora Purple is a standout phone with a sleek, modern look. The color is vibrant and eye catching, and the build quality feels solid and premium. Performance is fast and responsive, making everyday tasks feel smooth. The camera captures sharp photos with great detail, and the display is bright with rich colors that look great for streaming or browsing. Being factory unlocked adds flexibility with carriers, and the 128GB of storage is plenty for apps, photos, and videos. For the price, the quality, durability, and overall functionality make this a strong value and a great upgrade choice. ... show more

  • I'm dissapointed
Service provider: Unlocked Color: Green Size: 128GB
NOT FACTORY UNLOCKED! I didn't realize this immediately because it is not specifically sim-locked, and data and calling worked fine. Fast forward 6 months, I get an email from work telling me I'll be kicked off the MDM policy (work email on personal phone) unless I update my OS. Evidently it was a Verizon phone, which can only receive software updates if you have Verizon SIM card. I have spent days trying to get support from Samsung, Verizon, AT&T, Amazon, and the Amazon seller only to be told to pound sand >:[ It would seem my only option now is to take a risk with leaked / pirated firmware flashing, which I'm worried will trip the Knox security (which is the only reason I bought the phone in the first place, as Knox security was required by my employer). The phone itself is also disappointing. I started with a OnePlus 5t, which I was very happy with. When I was required to get a Samsung, I went to an A52 5g. The fingerprint sensor and face recognition were both so bad that unlocking the phone was a massive chore (something I do dozens of times a day). I suffered through this for a little while before upgrading to the S22. I very much resent the trend of under-display sensors which do not perform as well as their more visible counterparts. The S22 ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is vastly better than the optical one on the A52, but it still is inferior compared to a sensor on the back of the phone like on my older OnePlus. Heck, even my old galaxy S5 had a better fingerprint sensor. The face detection is a little better than the A52, but not as good as the OnePlus 5t. It really struggles in low light, and must be directly in front of your face. Nobody does face detection as well as Apple, but that's probably due to patent limitations (and I refuse to go back to iphone until they allow sideloading). One notable issue both the A52 and S22 suffer is an inability to detect they are in my pocket. I must deliberately place the phone with the screen facing outwards or else the fingerprint reader will constantly register false attempts against my leg (which will lock you out of using biometrics) Battery life is not impressive. Once again the 5t was better. This may not be entirely fair b/c I do use the always-on display, but on the other hand the processor should be much more efficient for how much newer it is. I mostly believe this is similar to the issue of constantly waking up in my pocket. A proper proximity sensor could have solved this rather than just using the selfie camera, which is again another example of form over function (It also seems like samsung doesn't even attempt to detect being in you pocket in order to reduce battery / ignore touch screen). ... show more

  • Looks like new!!
Service provider: Unlocked Color: Green Size: 128GB
Great phone. Came in looking like perfect condition. I will say the battery life isn't the greatest. I seem to have to charge it a couple times a day, but to be fair... I do use it heavily since I basically run my travel agency via my phone while on the go

  • Good value. Watch the battery life.

Works fine. I bought it used/refurbished, so the battery has a little less capacity compared to new.

  • Fully unlocked as advertised!
Service provider: Unlocked Color: Phantom Black Size: 128GB
This was my first time ordering an unlocked phone so I was a little hesitant. The seller assured me that I wouldn't have any issues with it being network unlocked and that I could return or exchange it if I had any issues. Shipping was super fast, got here a day earlier than expected. I ordered it in good condition to save a little money, and honestly I'm glad I did. The only noticeable flaws were a couple scratches on the metal. Great value for thr money. Came carrier unlocked and I had no issues at all! Was able to insert my sim and connect to my carrier (airtalk.) ... show more

  • Video review here. Not an "excellent" condition used phone
Service provider: Verizon Color: Phantom White Size: 256GB
The media could not be loaded. I have had a Samsung S22 for 3 years now, having gotten it brand new from Verizon, and I'm very happy with its performance. My family member had to buy a new phone when his dog broke his screen, and Verizon gave me an extra SIM card (with 3 yrs free phone number and service) for being a 33 year customer. So I decided to buy another S22, a used one, which is the phone I'm reviewing here. The phone works. It makes calls. It receives calls. The microphone works. The speaker works. It arrived with 10% charge, so I plugged it in with the cord and plug it came with. It charged to 100% as expected. I used the provided Sim card ejection pin to open sim case and install my Verizon Sim card. All of that worked well. Then I picked out the apps that I wanted, and downloaded them without incident. I set up the phone display settings, notifications, and clock, weather and calculator widgets, again without any trouble. I set up the PIN, the pattern, and the fingerprint reader with no problems. Then I looked closely at the cosmetics of the device that I paid a premium price for, because it was described as in "excellent" condition. The front of the phone looks great. The screen glass is pristine. The sides I would say look "very good" with only one small area of deep scuffing. The back of the case has a lot of scratches and burred scuffs, around all four edges as well as around the corner and top edge of the lens assembly. Because of that scratching and scuffing, I would say that this phone is "good" condition rather than "excellent." It's not clean and smooth enough to say the condition is "very good." Function-wise, I will say, with only 20 hours of use to judge by, is very good. And another plus, in my mind, it's that this phone has the 256gig storage, compared with my other S22 that has only 128gigs. So, all in all I'm happy with the phone. I paid probably $50 more to get an "excellent" condition phone than the used phones in good or very good condition; and I don't believe it was graded accurately, and I feel overcharged because it's only a "good" condition phone in my mind. It works so I'm keeping it. Lesson learned as to condition rating system. ... show more
