Features

  • The S22 uses a flat (noncurved) 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with adaptive 120 Hz refresh that dynamically adjusts between 48 120 Hz depending on content which means smoother scrolling and better battery efficiency when high refresh isnt needed.
  • Its main rear camera features a 50 MP sensor with what Samsung calls Tetrabinning, delivering stronger detail in bright light and surprisingly good lowlight photos compared to many older flagships.
  • The build quality is designed to feel premium and durable: it uses an Armor Aluminum frame combined with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on front and back, which gives better scratch and drop resistance nice if you want a relatively compact but rugged flagship.
  • For video content and editing, the S22 supports 8K recording rare for a smaller flagship. That means you can shoot very high-resolution video, useful if you care about futureproofing footage or cropping/editing later.

  • Impressive! Absolutely like new, works flawlessly out of the box!
Service provider: Unlocked Color: White Size: 256GB
This was the bargain of the year for me! The phone is as-new. No evidence of it having ever seen use. I transferred evrything from my S10 to this one with SmartSwitch wireless and it took 11 minutes and the transfer left everything working as it was on the old phone, except faster! My onl complaints are that Samsung elected to no longer have a removable Micro SD card, which I really liked having to keep all of my photos and important document backups on. No more. I guess they saved $5 per phone? I'd have been glad to pay an extra charge for the extra and safe storage. The other thing is no more audio out jack. Yes, "everybody uses Bluetooth." I do to, for almost everything, but there are times . . . Oh well, it's still a great phone. I ALWAYS buy refurb. 1/3 the price and just as nice! Never had a problem with refurb computers, other electronics, power tools, and even appliances. ... show more

  • Phone is great at initial setup, Provided cable does not "fast charge" though.
Service provider: Unlocked Color: Phantom Black Size: 256GB
Phone arrived in a timely manner, very quick actually. A couple tiny scratches on the side (no big deal, it will be in armor and was expected). Screen was in perfect shape. The phone arrived with only a 20% charge, so before transfer I had to charge it. The supplied cable is "slow charging" only, stated 5.5 hours to charge, and to follow recommended instructions, phone should be charged well to transfer via Smart switch. Used my old cable, went from 5.5 hours to 1.5 hours. The slow charge cable and that there were no camera protectors with the screen protectors would be my only possible issues on my initial setup and transfer. All pixels on the screen appear to work, all touch sensors seem to work. ... show more

  • I'm dissapointed
Service provider: Unlocked Color: Green Size: 128GB
NOT FACTORY UNLOCKED! I didn't realize this immediately because it is not specifically sim-locked, and data and calling worked fine. Fast forward 6 months, I get an email from work telling me I'll be kicked off the MDM policy (work email on personal phone) unless I update my OS. Evidently it was a Verizon phone, which can only receive software updates if you have Verizon SIM card. I have spent days trying to get support from Samsung, Verizon, AT&T, Amazon, and the Amazon seller only to be told to pound sand >:[ It would seem my only option now is to take a risk with leaked / pirated firmware flashing, which I'm worried will trip the Knox security (which is the only reason I bought the phone in the first place, as Knox security was required by my employer). The phone itself is also disappointing. I started with a OnePlus 5t, which I was very happy with. When I was required to get a Samsung, I went to an A52 5g. The fingerprint sensor and face recognition were both so bad that unlocking the phone was a massive chore (something I do dozens of times a day). I suffered through this for a little while before upgrading to the S22. I very much resent the trend of under-display sensors which do not perform as well as their more visible counterparts. The S22 ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is vastly better than the optical one on the A52, but it still is inferior compared to a sensor on the back of the phone like on my older OnePlus. Heck, even my old galaxy S5 had a better fingerprint sensor. The face detection is a little better than the A52, but not as good as the OnePlus 5t. It really struggles in low light, and must be directly in front of your face. Nobody does face detection as well as Apple, but that's probably due to patent limitations (and I refuse to go back to iphone until they allow sideloading). One notable issue both the A52 and S22 suffer is an inability to detect they are in my pocket. I must deliberately place the phone with the screen facing outwards or else the fingerprint reader will constantly register false attempts against my leg (which will lock you out of using biometrics) Battery life is not impressive. Once again the 5t was better. This may not be entirely fair b/c I do use the always-on display, but on the other hand the processor should be much more efficient for how much newer it is. I mostly believe this is similar to the issue of constantly waking up in my pocket. A proper proximity sensor could have solved this rather than just using the selfie camera, which is again another example of form over function (It also seems like samsung doesn't even attempt to detect being in you pocket in order to reduce battery / ignore touch screen). ... show more

  • Buy refurbished NOW and save 💵💵!!
Service provider: Unlocked Color: White Size: 256GB
I must admit that I was slightly skeptical about buying a refurbished phone but this particular phone has opened my eyes to what's possible as I transitioned from a Sansung Galaxy A32 64GB to this masterpiece of a 256GB device! Even though I enjoyed my simple and uncomplicated A32 (which is perfect for luddites, by the way 😉), I remained unenvious of those who think spending BIG 💵💵💵💵 on a (smart) phone could ever be a good idea. But, with this purchase, I acquired the (secret) formula for having my 🍰 and eating it, too! Refurbished doesn't mean "second-hand" or "second-rate" in terms of quality, functionality, features and user-friendliness. I now see that it is possible to make a SMART phone purchase and not pay a DUMB price for it! When paired with a case and screen protector purchase from JETech (also available here on Amazon and reviewed separately) this was a quantum leap forward for me. The phone was in near perfect physical condition (only some minor scratches on the glass and a small gouge/dent on the metal border). This phone in it's satin-smooth, pearl-white finish is totally stunning and is as esthetically pleasing to look at as it is to hold. Samsung also packed a TON of goodies into this small device! It has performed nothing short of flawlessly out of the box and set-up using the Smart Switch App, though initially challenging, worked exceptionally well in the end! I may recommend getting a transfer USB-C Type cable to facilitate a (faster and hassle-free?) transfer from one phone to the other, though. But, so far, I do not regret this absolutely 💯 phone purchase!! A small sacrifice of that "new phone smell" 😉 did NOT mean a sacrifice of functionality and features AT ALL!! ... show more

  • Near Perfect.
Service provider: Unlocked Color: Gold Size: 256GB
Came in pristine condition. Ive gotten and been using mine for a week now and so far so good. No scratches or dents. Looks practically brand new. Works amazing. The only fault i find is the battery drains relatively quickly with continuous use so i have to charge it by nightfall, unlike the brand new phones that can last more than a day of continuous use before needing to charge. However, considering its a refurbished phone, and not a brand new one, the issue it comes with could have been much worse so it doesn't really bother me tbh. So far I've brought my charger to work with me every day since purchasing however I end up not needing to plug it in until I get home at the end of the work day. So I'd say the battery issue is not that huge a deal. Otherwise, the phone is AMAZING. Camera is good, features are good. No issues at all . ... show more

The Samsung Galaxy S22 in Bora Purple is a standout phone with a sleek, modern look. The color is vibrant and eye catching, and the build quality feels solid and premium. Performance is fast and responsive, making everyday tasks feel smooth. The camera captures sharp photos with great detail, and the display is bright with rich colors that look great for streaming or browsing. Being factory unlocked adds flexibility with carriers, and the 128GB of storage is plenty for apps, photos, and videos. For the price, the quality, durability, and overall functionality make this a strong value and a great upgrade choice. ... show more

  • Basically brand new
Service provider: Unlocked Color: Green Size: 128GB
So I've always been skeptical of buying refurbished items but my sister did it so I kinda thought why not? I bought this from the seller Wireless Source back on the 17th and I and received it on the 20th. So it was delivered quickly. It came in a brown box with a printed stickt label detailing what's inside. Upon opening the box, the phone box was wrapped nicely in packaging. I was surprised the seller had placed the phone into another box but super glad they did because it was STROMING! After taking the phone out of the box, first impressions was DAMN! The color is gorgeous and slick, the seller already put on screen protector. It was pretty much brand new! It had no scratches, chips, missing piant, absolutely NOTHING. It came with a charger and the pin to open the sim card area. The phone did come in dead so I immediately placed it on the charger. After about an hour give or take (I went to Walmart so came back so now exactly sure when it was fully charged) it was charged, and I turned it on with no issues. I set up the photo manually which was super simple to do after I inserted my sim card. I didn't need a code or anything it just asked me if I wanted to use the Sims card or use a new one. Once I verified that I wanted to use the old Sims card, it immediately recognized it as AT&T and asked me to click okay to switch over. Done. All my apps are on and updated. Everything is set to my liking and I've had no issues at all. I've had the phone for 2 full days now and the phone actually automatically adjust the brighteness if you are outside or in a dim environment. Just be careful because you have to readjust the brightness whenever you like it after. The phone battery life is pretty darn good. I'm currently at 45% and it's 5:07pm where I'm located. The phone has been used actively since 8am off charger. The camera quality is fantastic. Volume and sound is phenomenal. There is lots of storage and I have plenty more of exploring to do on the phone. I have let the phone die and had no problems with charging and turning back on. It will let you add a fingerprint for protection later one which I thought was cool because I didn't have to set thay up right away. Samsung is just the best for that. I bought a case to match the phone as well. I absolutely love the phone so far. The only downside, in my opinion, is that I can not add an SD card. Other then that, it's an exceptional phone. I will definitely update later if anything starts happening or I find cool stuff regarding the phone but so far so good! ... show more

  • Video review here. Not an "excellent" condition used phone Video review here. Not an "excellent" condition used phone
Service provider: Verizon Color: Phantom White Size: 256GB
I have had a Samsung S22 for 3 years now, having gotten it brand new from Verizon, and I'm very happy with its performance. My family member had to buy a new phone when his dog broke his screen, and Verizon gave me an extra SIM card (with 3 yrs free phone number and service) for being a 33 year customer. So I decided to buy another S22, a used one, which is the phone I'm reviewing here. The phone works. It makes calls. It receives calls. The microphone works. The speaker works. It arrived with 10% charge, so I plugged it in with the cord and plug it came with. It charged to 100% as expected. I used the provided Sim card ejection pin to open sim case and install my Verizon Sim card. All of that worked well. Then I picked out the apps that I wanted, and downloaded them without incident. I set up the phone display settings, notifications, and clock, weather and calculator widgets, again without any trouble. I set up the PIN, the pattern, and the fingerprint reader with no problems. Then I looked closely at the cosmetics of the device that I paid a premium price for, because it was described as in "excellent" condition. The front of the phone looks great. The screen glass is pristine. The sides I would say look "very good" with only one small area of deep scuffing. The back of the case has a lot of scratches and burred scuffs, around all four edges as well as around the corner and top edge of the lens assembly. Because of that scratching and scuffing, I would say that this phone is "good" condition rather than "excellent." It's not clean and smooth enough to say the condition is "very good." Function-wise, I will say, with only 20 hours of use to judge by, is very good. And another plus, in my mind, it's that this phone has the 256gig storage, compared with my other S22 that has only 128gigs. So, all in all I'm happy with the phone. I paid probably $50 more to get an "excellent" condition phone than the used phones in good or very good condition; and I don't believe it was graded accurately, and I feel overcharged because it's only a "good" condition phone in my mind. It works so I'm keeping it. Lesson learned as to condition rating system. ... show more
