    • Quality and comfort
I've been using Buds Live for over a year, and really like them. They are comfortable enough to wear for prolonged periods, the noise cancellation works great and the sound quality is superb. You can equalize them a bit using the android system effects, or the Samsung Wearable app. The battery lasts a while, and the charging case can provide a reasonable number of recharges before you need to connect it to a wall charger. I mostly use them in the gym and they seem to be water resistant as far as sweat goes. I did accidentally wash a pair - the buds still worked fine (!) but the charging case went dead (because of the open usb port), so had to get a replacement at one point. My ONLY issue with these earphones is that they can be too sensitive to the touch, sometimes I'll brush the sweat off from around my ear, and that registers as a press and pauses whatever I'm playing (you can tap on the earphones to pause/start or change volume). Apple solved this issue by making a physical pressure sensor (i.e. button) instead of whatever technology this thing uses to allow user control.     • The Best Half-In Earbuds
Bottom line: These are great earbuds! I was looking for a good set of half-in earbuds; ones I could keep in my ears for longer periods partly for music, partly for calls and partly to be able to hear my surroundings. And because I like a quality sound, I won't settle for poor or even mediocre. These meet all my objectives. Because they're not jammed into my ear canal, the comfort for long periods is great. They're light and I sense no ear pressure at all. I tended to move my regular earbuds back and forth from the case to my ears many times a day. These i can leave in for extended periods and when a call comes in, I'm ready. And the call quality is great. Now, how about the music quality? Keep in mind these are open and do not seal off your ears. As such, they will never match the sound other earbuds can deliver, especially that wonderful sub bass. But for an open style earbud, I'm really impressed with how these deliver a balanced sound. Bass is there. Mids are perfect. And the highs are not so bright that they screech at high volume. So as long as you manage your expectations for the type earbuds these are, I think you'll be surprise at how good these are. I was. ... show more

Not completely deaf, but constant pressure and frequent bouts of "muffled" episodes. I am being seen by a Dr- Dr said no more headphones but I don't listen and use them at work. The right one only, don't want to aggravate the left/problem ear. BUT these are amazing. They aren't plungers, they nestle right on your conch cavium so there's no plunging or bass pressure. These are "open ear" buds so you can still hear the outside world and unless you have these at a 1 or 2, other people hear too. But they're perfect for me, even on the rare occasions I put that left one in too, I haven't had any negative effects or increase in episodes. ... show more

best headset i have ever owen even better then apple earpod pro in all aspects but the best thing about it is that it dose not go in your ear with peace of plastic or foam and as a result it will not heart the ear and it is super confirtible and secure with perfect sound quality even the lowest noises as well as bass and 100% noise cancelation as needed ... show more

I bought these for music when riding my motorcycle. Although they don't stay in your ears when I put my helmet on or especially when I take it off, they sound amazing and actually do have active noise cancelation, that works really well. The highs are crisp and clean and the bass is surprisingly deep with them being so small. Highly recommended except for helmet use. ... show more

    • CONSTANT DISTORTION
I've been on a hunt to replace my broken Audio-Technica Solid Bass ATH-CKS5TWBL (I dropped the right bud and the control button broke). I really did enjoy using them but they weren't the most comfortable in the long run. I was excited these came in blue and offered a long battery life and Active Noise Cancellation. As soon as they came in, I opened the Samsung Wear application and paired them to my phone. I was disappointed that the Samsung Bud Live do not support the aptx or aptx hd codec (buds need to have a Qualcomm chipset). I played some music and it happened... constant audio drop outs, audio distortions, and the left and right buds would get out of sync with the music playing. I tried different songs, media playback applications, it was all the same. I then updated the buds' software and that didn't change how atrocious audio playback was. Then I tried pairing these buds to my Sony NW-A55/B Walkman and the results were the same. Instantly disappointed I returned these and ending up getting the Soundcore by Anker Liberty 3. They also do not support the aptx or aptx hd codec but offers Sony's LDAC codec which both my phone and Sony NW-A55/B Walkman support and is a much higher transfer bit rate than acc, sbc, aptx, and aptx hd. So far the Soundcore by Anker Liberty 3 buds are working great and feel really comfortable. My only complaint thus far is that they are not offered in any shade of blue. Do yourself a favor and pass up on the Samsung Buds Live and get a pair of Soundcore by Anker Liberty 3 instead. ... show more
