So these are 1,000 times better than my last pair of Samsung earbuds. The last kind I had were the in the air type not this style at all. The last pair didn't stay connected they didn't stay in my ears and they weren't comfortable plus the sound wasn't great. Now for this pair! They seem to sit in my ear while they are comfortable the sound is good I made a call and I could hear just fine and I assume they could hear me. I have a Samsung Galaxy s26 ultra and they synced without issue. I usually use my Bose ear buds but I have two phones and like having a pair synced to each rather than going back and forth. Did not fit at all and no way to adjust or change the fit. The left earbud had a slight defect in the plastic where it wasn't smooth, so it scratched my ear every time I would put it in or re-adjust it. The sound isn't as good as my old pairs of Samsung earbuds, but that would be because of the fit issue. Battery life is not any better than my old used pairs. Love these. The quality is great just like the Buds 3 and the charge lasts a long time. I have to get used to the controls on these as the volume for the 3 is on the backside where as these are on the front. I also like the base opens from a flat position. These don't fit my ears. I have no sort of lip for them to hang onto. I can just be sitting still and they fall out. I am sad, wanted to love them. Sound great, love everything but the fit. Expensive mistake,I don't do returns that are my fault. Just threw them away.

My Experience With the Galaxy Buds 4 as a Quadriplegic. Connectivity Connectivity was great. • The buds were recognized by my S26 Ultra immediately. • A pop-up appeared asking if I wanted to connect. • I tapped Connect and was off and running. The process was smooth and seamless. • If you have a newer model Samsung phone that Galaxy buds app is built into the user interface. If you have a different Android phone i believe you have to use the Galaxy wearable app. • There's a hard button in the back to pair it with any other Bluetooth devices . Pretty small and it's kind of difficult for me to access due to my dexterity and fingertip issues. I prefer the tapping function of the airpods. • I was surprised by the ease of switching between my tablet and phone. I was using airpods with the Samsung so I wasn't used to this. It shocked me. Fit – Average • At first, I thought the fit was great. I didn’t use the cushion covers initially, unlike with my AirPods. • I learned the hard way during a workout at Precision. As I moved, both earbuds began to wiggle loose. The left one stayed more stable than the right, which seems typical for open‑ear style earbuds. My right ear is always harder to fit than my left. • When I got home, I added the sponge cushion covers to create a better seal. • Because the fit is still loose at times, the app often doesn’t recognize that both earbuds are in. For example, if the right one loosens, adaptive noise cancellation won’t work because the app thinks I’m only wearing one earbud. This happens throughout the day. • I also had to cut out sections of the cushions to make room for the sensors. Controls • The controls are similar to AirPods, using a pinch on the stem. • They also include a volume slider on the stem, but I wasn’t able to use it due to my dexterity issues and lack of sensation in my fingertips. Sound – Only Good When the Fit Is Snug • When the earbuds are seated properly, they sound pretty good. • However, I noticed that as I turned the volume up, the bass faded away. There was a clear lack of bass. • I confirmed this by switching to my AirPods. Using LL Cool J – “Going Back to Cali” and a few other songs, the AirPods completely blew the Galaxy Buds out of the water in terms of bass. • Even with the EQ set to maximum bass, I couldn’t reproduce the same out‑of‑the‑box sound that the AirPods provide. • Because of the lack of mid and low bass—likely due to seal issues—it’s harder for me to clearly hear my stories when I’m writing in the van on the way to therapy or other appointments. Microphone – Top Notch • The microphone performance is excellent. • I was inside Next Step with loud club music blasting while talking to my sister, and she said she couldn’t hear the background noise at all—only my voice. That really impressed me. Charging Case – Just Okay • The case is bulky compared to the AirPods case. • It has a clear cover so you can see the buds inside. • The earbuds lie flat in the case. • There’s no indentation to help pry the case open, which makes it difficult for me due to my dexterity and sensation issues. The AirPods case has a clear indentation that makes it easier to open. • There’s a light on the front that flashes green, red, and blue for pairing mode, red while charging, and green when fully charged. • However, there is no chime when the case is placed on a charger, which I see as a negative. • There’s also a physical pairing button on the back. I don’t like this because it’s difficult for me to press due to my dexterity issues. Battery Life – Average • My frame of reference is the AirPods 4 with ANC, and I feel the individual buds on the Galaxy Buds don’t last as long. • With AirPods, I can get about 5–6 hours on a single bud while listening to stories and taking a call or two. • One time I forgot my AirPods case and managed to go from around 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on a single charge by briefly disconnecting Bluetooth for about 45 minutes. I still made it home. • That wouldn’t be possible with the Galaxy Buds. They seem to stay active while connected to my S24 Ultra, likely due to ANC running continuously. With AirPods, I’m usually just using standard Bluetooth without ANC. Price • $179, which is the same price as the AirPods 4 with ANC. Reliability Issues • On the morning of April 25th, the Galaxy Buds would not connect properly and kept getting kicked off phone calls. I switched to my AirPods and had no issues. • The first pair I received had a problem with the left earbud producing a crackling noise. I probably could have reset them, but since this never happened with my AirPods, it shook my confidence. • I returned that pair and received a replacement on April 13th. Similar issues occurred, but resetting them fixed the problem immediately. Conclusion I really wanted to love these earbuds. They look stylish and sleek, with a black finish and charcoal silver‑gray stems. They also offer a volume slider, which unfortunately I can’t use due to dexterity and sensation issues. However, it’s hard for me to justify keeping them because of: • The lack of mid and low bass • Ongoing fit issues throughout the day—sometimes even chewing causes the right earbud to loosen • Problems with Zoom call audio • Accessibility challenges with the case and controls I might not feel this way if I hadn’t come from AirPods, which work well for me without relying on app features or workarounds. ... show more

I had my Galaxy Buds 3 for about a year and had some issues from the start. Occasional static popping in my ear (ow!), issues with the case not charging the headphones despite no debris or moisture being in there, and a lot of random disconnection issues. I took a chance on the 4s, and have to say it was well worth it! Much better quality. The case hasn't given me any issues yet with charging, about a month in, which is much more than I can say for my first month with the 3s. The audio quality is better and 0 static popping! Great open style earbuds. Not for everybody. But great for what they are!! The ANC could honestly be better as it's laughable right now. What do u expect from open earbuds?? They have great sound quality that can be eq-er! Although on my zflod, the icon is still appears as the 1st gen Samsung buds and I do t like that thus the 4 stars. Maybe 3.5 should be more appropriate for these. But that's probably cuz I've been spoiled with too many ANC capable earbuds. I just remembered that they have 360 audio and also the transparency mode is kinda amplified ... show more

Definitely worth the cost. The active noise cancelling works very well, especially on an airplane. I would say it cuts out about 80% of the noise. Very easy to pair with the google pixel.
