So, let me start by saying that this VERY different than a regular laptop, but in my opinion its not in a bad way. This is my first Chromebook and I was really apprehensive to get it after reading some of the reviews. I did just receive it today so i will update as time goes by. I purchased this Chromebook to use for college and so far it looks like it will work just fine. You can use Microsoft products on this Chromebook, you just have to know how. In my opinion the interface is easy once you learn how to use it. It is pretty small, but I actually think this is great for me because I will be taking it to work with me everyday to use for school work. So, its a great travel computer. Its super cost efficient. For the price point, this is a great notebook. I use this primarily as a client to connect to a virtual desktop at work and never have any issues. We also use this for the kids homework. If you are looking for a budget notebook, I would recommend this Chromebook. However, if you are expecting a top of the line notebook, this Chromebook is not for you. I purchased my first Samsung Chromebook in 2014 & could not kill it no matter how tough I was on it, so wanted to get another when the time came. The older one used to freeze every so often, so I would shut it down & reboot. My new SC freezes nearly every time I am on it -- way more often than the older SC I had. That's my only complaint. I don’t normally write reviews but I LOVE this chromebook!! I was worried because it was so cheaply priced that it seemed too good to be true but I am so impressed! The battery life is great, it runs quickly, and it’s perfect for watching Netflix haha. I also love how small it is, it’s so cute!!

I bought 3 for Christmas. One I spend an hour on trying to update it. My son busted screen on his 2 days after getting it so I threw it away. I thought they were touch screens but not. Also i thought all chrome books used c chargers. These do not. I have 2 left I'll see how long they last. Arrived on time. ... show more

Excellent chromebook. Just like the ones my kids use in school, so there is no learning curve, for them. Light, fast, charges quickly, and holds its charge fairly well, even in use.
