First of all, the sofa arrived well ahead of schedule and nothing was damaged. As I've completed it, it does look great, and everything functions well. However, it's a pain in the rear to assemble. For the bases, you are trying to fit a half inch bolt extension into a slot while a full inch of very thick padding is in your way. That's not an easy thing to deal with. It's just as difficult when trying to fit the wing sliders into the side panels because they're also only a half-inch protruding while there's 1-1.5 inches of padding. You are really pushing against things just to MAYBE get everything to connect; good luck seeing it because of where everything is actually located. Also, the back sliders that connect the bases to the backrests are not aligned very well--you have to push or pull them this or that way to make sure everything will slide into each other (this time only fighting against poor visibility). Because of the pulling and shifting necessary, I'm not convinced this is going to last very long. Granted, you get what you pay for, so your mileage may vary, but typically when you have to adjust these things manually during assembly, you're introducing new strain and stress on a system that, when you start shuffling around to get comfortable and adding the usually tested-for stress and strain, leads to a lot of very, very rapid wear and tear. I expect this to last no more than a year. I expect because of high prices in the economy, I'll still tolerate it well beyond the year. At any rate, other than the issues, it's a relatively straightforward build, but the instructions are *not* "high quality." The actual "how to connect these two parts" is barely visible, and it's only by looking at the parts and making the connection yourself do you see what needs to be done. The "which is left or right side" is easy to distinguish, though, as each one has a slider you'll insert the wing or edge onto, so you shouldn't get lost there. About 25 minutes to assemble total by myself after fighting with the stupid bolt head not staying slotted correctly and barely seeing what I'm doing because of all the heavy padding in the way. ... show more

I purchased this three-seat recliner for my mother, and she absolutely loves it. The size is generous enough for her to sit comfortably or recline fully when she wishes to rest. Conveniently, there are pockets on both sides where she can store her phone, magazines, or other small items. Although the recliner is manually operated, she actually prefers this feature, as it does not depend on electricity. The center section serves multiple purposes: it can be used as a small table, includes an outlet for charging devices, and has holders for drinks. As for assembly, my husband completed it and found the process relatively straightforward. The only issue we encountered was during delivery — the center section of the recliner was missing. I had to contact Amazon to resolve the matter, and fortunately, the missing part was sent promptly. Overall, we are very satisfied with this purchase. To help preserve it, I also purchased a cover to extend its longevity. ... show more
