I have always used iPhones, but my sister-in-law is a photographer and told me that Samsung phones have better cameras. I had used Android phones for work before, so I wasn't completely new to them, but it had been a few years. I was surprised by how easy this phone was to set up as I seem to remember my work phone being much more difficult. The screen is big, looks great, and everything is sharp and clear. It does come with quite a bit of bloatware, which has been somewhat annoying to sort through and remove. I use Google Voice on this phone, and call quality has been excellent with clear audio. Battery life is outstanding compared to my iPhone, and it charges incredibly fast as well. My sister-in-law was right about the camera quality—the photos are sharp, detailed, and color is more true. I especially love the ultrawide and macro lenses. Android's split-screen multitasking is another feature I really really like, and it's something iOS still doesn't offer. Finally, the value is hard to beat. I was looking to replace my iPhone, and even Apple's "budget" iPhone 17 starts at $600. At the time of this review, this phone was $479, making it a much better value for the money. ... show more

This Samsung phone is very well built and is very easy to setup. I have an old cell phone with a SIM card that is starting to show signs of battery failure and the old phone does not run the apps as fast as the newer phones. The camera on the old phone was fairly low resolution and the pictures were not of the best quality. This new Samsung phone was very easy to configure, a simple sway of the SIM card, and all of my apps and photos migrated to the new phone with no issues at all with the migration software. The new phones camera takes very crisp and clear pictures. The pictures it takes are a huge improvement over my old phone. The phone is easy to hold and is very comfortable to use. The new phone charges quickly and hold a charge for much longer then my old phone. The old phone would need to be charged twice a day and this new phone has help up with good battery life for a couple of days now. The storage on this new phone is OK but having more storage would be nice but certainly not mandatory. The screen is very vivid and crisp and the look of the new phone is a much needed improvement over my old phone. This phone has a screen that is larger then my old phones screen and the new phone weighs considerably less then my old phone so it is much easier to carry. ... show more

Wow, this Android phone really did a good job with the design. The weight balances well on my larger hands and so I’m able to use it with 1 hand. Screen is very clear and visible. The speed is fast, there is no lag between screens. The keyboard is accurate and works just as good as any cell phones I’ve had in the past including my collection of iPhones. I decided to get this phone after traveling overseas recently. I realized some places/stores overseas don’t have eSIM but rather physical SIM card. This phone has both. A physical SIM slot (for 2 SIMS) and an eSIM option. Can’t go wrong with that. The camera on this phone is crystal clear with its triple lens system and the in-app photo editing is superior to my iPhone. A good buy and a great phone to take on overseas trips. ... show more

A long-time iPhone user, I haven't tried using any Android phone or Samsung mobile devices before, and this Samsung Galaxy is a pleasant intro to both. The setup was straightforward and smooth, and with the Apple-to-Galaxy data porting app, coping over contact list or photo/video gallery was super seamless. Since the device came fully unlocked, I just needed to place the SIM card to start using it. Screen brightness and resolution is great, and the battery lasts reliably long. It came with ~60% charged out of the box, and I can immediately start setting up and using the phone. It's noticeably larger than my previous iPhone 13 mini, but the grip feels good, although it'll take some time for me to adjust to the bigger size. The camera quality is excellent, and it captures great details without much distortion/noise even at the maximum zoom level. I'm absolutely stunned and satisfied by this phone. ... show more

I was shocked being offered a phone and thought I wouldn't be impressed. I was actually surprised by how much phone you get for the price. The display is bright the battery lasts me all day and with its equipped with fast charging so i can plug it up with a low battery and in 30mins its almost full charge and everything runs smooth. Apps load quick calls are clear and the camera takes great photos. Compared to my S24 model Im not finding much difference between the 2.
