I am very pleased with this seller and especially impressed with how well it was packed. As expected, the unit was reconditioned and I did not expect it to look "new." I'm sure it was not scratched in transit because of the excellent way it was packed. The unit did have scratches on the outer cover and near the keyboard. Not too big a deal, but I mention it to help set expectations that a reconditioned unit may have scratches if that matters to others. As far as the model, this is the 4th unit of the exact same model I have bought in the last 2 months for family members and friends. I am helping wean some 80 year olds to get off their really slow Windows computers and opt for a Chromebook. So far, they have all adapted to it w/o too much trouble. And it's easier for me to support them when their new laptop/Chromebook is quick and snappy. I set them up for dictation so they can record their memoirs and I can help by playing editor. Can't really complain about this Chromebook given the price. Probably not the best on the market but adequate for everyday tasks. Came in excellent condition for a refurb. Looked and functioned like new.

Looked perfect when I opened it which was good bc I bought a refurbished one or something like that. Nice large screen. I was planning to buy a tv for my bedroom but I decided to just get a big screen laptop which is fine. I use it on a bed desk and it works great for being lazy and streaming shows. The only thing I find to be kind of weird is the touchpad. I feel like when I use it to click, I have to press the bottom right corner kind of hard but I’ve heard all Samsung are like that idk ... show more

I needed second laptop with good battery live. I tried Chrome OS with this machine which has good design principles, though you have to Protect your data. The screen on this pc is large and that is useful but you have to move screen to see and sunlight is a problem. I switched from Mac a few years ago and got lost in the MS OS insanity and the Lenovo no longer deigns to charge. This machine would cost the same as fixing the Lenovo. Chrome OS is very simple but you can't trust security. So, get a pc off the Internet and this laptop is fine. (I still haven't figured out, even when typing slowly, the cursor jumps mid word or a section vanishes) ... show more

I bought this laptop knowing it was refurbished and it was a good price. Around $135. It had a 90 day warranty. Literally just a few of weeks after this 90 days, the battery started to die and it would only run if plugged in. Then it died completely and would not run even if plugged in. I now have it in a repair shop paying over $150 to get a new battery and diagnostic of what else might be wrong with it. Don't waste the money. Just go ahead and get a brand new one. Kind of suspicious that it crapped out shortly after the 90 days IMHO. ... show more
