  • Love it
Bigger than I expected. Love it. They say qled is better for well lit rooms and that is a lie. Gets just as much of a glare as any other type of tv

  • Nice TV, but the sound could be better
Decent price for the size.. This is not the better OLED screen, but the QLED screen.. If you do not know the difference, background lighting, ad slight glare from lights to dark areas around it come out better on the more expensive OLED screen.. But, one thing I have noticed, from my point of view is, after owning both types, if you do not leave the TV on full power, this difference is not as noticeable.. I have my TV's set to energy saver and with that being on, I did not even notice the difference between the 2 types of screens.. I had to turn the energy saver feature off to really notice it.. In this day and age, I try to limit my user accounts, but with this TV, for you to use a lot of the smart features, such as built in apps, samsung tv+ channels, etc, you have to sign up for one of their accounts, which is free.. But the fact that you have to is what I do not like.. Their TV's from 2 years ago did not require this, but a year ago did, and so does this years.. My 2 year old TV with this same type of screen is still going great, so I have faith that this one will last years too.. This comes with a more full feature remote.. My remote from the last 2 TV's had a simple remote, where this one has more features built into it, numbers, etc.. The one thing I liked about my last remote was that it was rechargeable via USB-C, where this one takes batteries.. I find this to be a minor detail, but something to note if you have one of their 55" TV's like I came from.. The sound is decent, but not great.. If you like the sound to be loud, you might want to get a set of external speakers.. For a normal room, they are fine.. But you will have to really turn it up for a more noisy room, like because of a window AC running at the same time.. I have found this same thing with the last 2 TV's that I got from them, both 55".. As for software.. You will need to update it once you get it.. This is best done on high speed.. We updated this one via DSL, and it took hours to update.. I will not comment as to how good the software is in these for the simple reason, my 2 year old TV has updated the software, I think about once every 6 months.. At least that I have noticed, and since the software on this is similar, expect the same.. Every time that they update it, they change things, which included how it is set up.. It is not just software glitches being fixed, so know that it can, and most likely will change over time. Overall, it is a decent TV and I am happy with it. For most people, I think that the QLED TV will be good and it is not worth the extra cost vs the OLED TV's.. ... show more

  • Effortless setup. Q4 chip is great.
Love the updated menu system. It immediately detected my Sony AV receiver. The Q4 chip works very nicely. Very pleased.

  • TV good buy, NSD HORRIBLE DELIVERY
Edit. I posted below on day one of ownership. On Day 2 the Samsung Smart Things connection broke. Turns out that this is a fairly common problem. The work around is to use a HDMI Fire Stick for streaming services. That really kinda undermines the TVs purpose and value. ******* A very good compromise purchase that will balance cost and quality. I am happy and satisfied with the TV. HOWEVER, 75" tv requires bulk delivery. Amazon currently still contracts with NSD for large and oversize items. NSD is HORRIBLE. Google their reviews for yourself. The first TV I purchased was delivered late and broken. Amazon did amazing on their part to quickly credit and replace. However, NSD still delivered the replacement. Luckily that one wasn't damaged. Amazon 5 stars, TV 4 stars, NSD Delivery negative 10 stars. ... show more

  • Solid budget level big screen 4K TV
I ordered this TV to replace an older 65" 1K TV that was going dim. The enhancement in viewing was immediately apparent - brightness, color, overall picture quality and functionality. I have several other "high end" Samsung and LG TVs and while this one doesn't compete from an overall picture quality perspective, it's also currently about 1/3 the price. The setup was pretty easy, especially if you already have a Samsung account. Background lighting reflections were pretty significant but acceptable with a bright show on the TV. Off-axis viewing beyond 30 degrees is not great. The built-in ATSC tuner was satisfactory and picked up many channels but honestly, an over-the-air signal, even digital, is hard to watch without effective upscaling. Don't expect this TVs built-in upscaling to do much to enhance the picture. There was great clarity of the picture and 4K screens, whether the single "SamsungPlus" built in 4K App channel (clarity) or via HDMI off the AppleTV or a UHD BluRay, the latter two being very good. The sound quality is unimpressive but fortunately it allowed me to connect to a Visio soundbar via Bluetooth, important as there is no audio / optical connection. The maximum 4K refresh rate is 60Hz so somewhat limiting but I didn't notice any picture smearing in movies or sports broadcasts. The remote control is sufficient and I found it immediately picked up on my AppleTV controls. Note - I don't like the Samsung home screen and on this TV, found it very difficult to change to provide the features I most use. Plus side - lots of free programming from Samsung, reportedly over a thousand channels. I could't verify that but the system told me there were more than 465 channels detected. The prospect of finding a good quality 75" 4K TV at this price point is becoming more common. After calibrating the screen, the picture was quite acceptable for everyday use. The clarity noted in features such as visualizing individual hairs in a 4K broadcast is impressive. The picture doesn't have the "pop" and other clarity of mI noted that the Q7F series is available for anywhere from $75 (on sale) to $150 more and it brings a better processor and upscaling performance, faster refresh and perceived color depth. That might be a logical step for those wanting a step up in quality while still remaining in the sub-$900 range. Overall - solid TV, great value at this price point. ... show more
