The Samsung S90H 2026 model is an excellent TV. I replaced my 10 year old Samsung TV with this one and I’m very impressed. The images are bright sharp and colorful. The OLED screen has great colors and deep blacks. The setup is a little tricky but when you see the images it’s well worth it. There are many many settings so you can adjust the picture and sound the way you like it. The sound also is a big improvement over older designs. This is a very impressive TV highly recommended.

Truly anti-glare w vivid colors

Wow, truly anti-glare and sublime quality!!! Game Mode is highly customizable, which I appreciate being highly photo sensitive. Easy to setup and get all my apps working using QR sign ins. I have a Sony soundbar and even some home pods and I absolutely don’t need them at all, the audio is incredible off the TV with a standard and dynamic mode. I was worried the matte anti glare screen would impact the image or color quality but I actually had to adjust the brightness and contrast to half as the default is SUPER intense. I’m rewatching all my favorite movies now and enjoying the incredible quality. Highly recommend getting a full range mount that allows you to tilt, swing and all that jazz. It’s great.

Does exactly what it promises - handles glare

I bought this TV for a covered porch. It is mounted on an east facing wall and has a clear picture even on bright mornings. It replaced a LED TV that was a few years old and just was not bright enough after overgrown landscaping was replaced. It overcomes glare as promised, and it also has a wider viewing angle than the old LED unit. The sound is as good as can be expected for internal speakers - plenty of volume and decent quality.

The good and bad

The good: Picture quality is amazing. There is an incredible depth of field. Many shows and movies look almost 3-D. Also purchased a soundbar with subwoofer so the watching experience is great. The bad: the tv is glitchy. I watch a fair amount of over-the-air programming, and on power-up it often comes up with a top/bottom split between two channels. It clears ok if I select up or down channel. Also, occasionally a prompt comes up asking if I want to translate to my own language, even though I selected English when I did my initial setup. And lastly, a prompt comes up that mutes the show I'm watching that says "listening" like I pressed the voice command button. I have to grab the remote and exit to get back to my show. Overall, the tv is great. The remote is intuitive and easy to use without looking and the interface is good. The initial setup could be better, and it was hard to find things like the HBO app.

Glitchy software, external devices simply quit, TV picture is great

As a standalone TV, this is a wonderful device. The picture is beautiful, and the sound is good. There are a lot of adjustments and tweaks available. There are a lot of attached streaming apps that seem to work well. But anything to do with wireless networking or external devices simply does not work. We bought the Samsung S60D Soundbar for this TV. We connected it by HDMI eARC. It worked great, but now the Spectrum remotes would not adjust the sound; indeed, they would not turn the TV on or off anymore. I am not sure if they would change channels, but anyway, I removed the Soundbar. Then I found the only way to get the Spectrum remote controls to work again was to factory reset and reprogram them. This took many hours of failed tapping on this and that. Google AI was amazing at helping me to fix it. The next day, I got the idea to try the soundbar wirelessly. I plugged it in after following the requisite steps of using the SmartThings app, Q Symphony, and so on. Bang! The Soundbar worked beautifully, with great sound from both the TV and Soundbar. But I wanted to move the soundbar 6 feet, so I unplugged it, moved it, and plugged it back in. Only sound came out from one or the other, but not both. After two hours of tapping this and that and asking Google AI I quit. Google was suggesting HDMI loopbacks; wireless handshake glitches are common. Anyway, I pulled the Soundbar off the system, and it's headed back to Amazon because it simply doesn't work. The next day, I tried Auracast with my hearing aids. After setting Auracast to 24 GHZ and some tapping around, they connected to the TV beautifully. I went outside for a few minutes, and when I came back, they would no longer connect to Auracast, no matter the settings tapped and untapped. So the pattern is that special features work just once, then quit, and there is nothing that can be done to bring them back within common user skills. I did not contact telephone support because the TV should just work as advertised without spending hours on the phone for a fix, maybe. Bottom line: This TV just doesn't work.

What an amazing picture

Our Samsung QLED died and we decided to upgrade to the sam size OLED. What an amazing picture. The remote is rechargeable via 5v or sunlight and the interface is very intuitive. We love this TV.
