  • GORGEOUS TV!!
Size: 65-Inch Style: TV Only
GORGEOUS TV!! Very bright for a QD-OLED. Colors are super vibrant. Love the glossy screen compared to the Matte Black on the S95F. This is my first OLED TV and it does NOT disappoint. Setup was super easy. I have no idea how the sound quality is on the TV because I use a surround sound. I am gonna guess it’s a hit or miss. Depends on what people like. It was heavy. Needed another person to help me carry the weight of the TV. And the TV is an expensive one but it’s all worth it for what you get. Beautiful picture, infinite contrast. Everything about it is a 10/10 for me! ... show more

  • Image Quality Is Superb-Feature Rich TV
Size: 48-Inch Style: TV Only
I have owned Sony Bravia and LG TVs but have leaned toward Samsung since I have had excellent performance from their cellular phones and tablets as well as other Samsung TVs I currently own. When I had the offer to try the SAMSUNG 48-Inch Class OLED S90F 4K Smart TV (2025 Model), how could I resist. UNBOXING: The TV arrived via UPS in its original box. The TV was cradled in rigid expanded polystyrene and had absolutely no damage from shipment. Getting the TV out of the box was a little tricky since you have to be very careful where you grab the edges of the TV. Unboxing instructions are included. The TV package was equipped with a remote and all the necessary cables to get hooked up. ASSEMBLY: The only thing requiring assembly was the stand. It went together easily and attached to the TV without issue, however, I would not trust this stand to support a TV set this expensive. It just felt flimsy and I think Samsung should improve the stand. Instead I ordered a wall mount for the best outcome. The thin screen and the bezel-less design makes this TV look sleek and modern. SET-UP: The TV guides you through some preliminary set up items. That was accomplished in mere minutes. I will have to dwell deep into the lengthy owner’s manual to figure out all the various functions this smart (smarter than me!) TV has to offer. PICTURE QUALITY: I am by no means technically qualified to tell you the ins and outs of all the features this TV has. Suffice to say the OLED picture quality is superb, much better than my old Samsung UHD LED set. Samsung is touting the use of AI to improve the experience. I have included some images but they don’t show the dramatic picture quality difference as well as in a real-life comparison. The high contrast and more true-to-life colors make whatever you are viewing vivid and more like what you would see naturally. SOUND QUALITY: Sound was not terrible for a TV but I am used to a sound bar addition. I ordered a Samsung soundbar to take advantage of the compatibility with the sound settings. As a result, the sound is excellent. REMOTE: The remote is solar powered. The solar panel is on the back of the remote so you need to remember to turn it upside down for charging. The remote is intuitive with fewer buttons than the traditional remote. It has not numbered buttons for channel selection. It is voice activated and that helps a lot. With Alexa built in, you just ask the TV to tune a channel and it is that easy. OVERALL IMPRESSIONS: I downsized from a 65” to a 48” TV. After watching for a couple days, I don’t really miss the bigger size and, frankly, the 65” was a bit of overkill for my smallish living room. Movies are much sharper and don’t have that ghosting effect that action movies have with other TVs. Colors are so super that you’ll wonder why you haven’t got an OLED TV sooner. I am still dealing with a few wonky issues with the remote, but I believe them to be operator errors since I am getting better working all the features. RECOMMENDATION: This series called S90F comes in a variety of screen sizes so you can select one the right size for your room or budget. If you are a bonafide techie, I think you will find this TV stacks up well against the competition for a mid-range LED TV. If you are more interested in performance and visual appeal of the picture, you will be impressed with this up-to-date 2025 model of Samsung TVs. I hope to be enjoying mine for years to come. ... show more

  • Gorgeous picture, lots of features and intuitive interface
Size: 48-Inch Style: TV Only
First, we've had LG OLED TVs since 2016. We are on our second OLED and have purchased 2 regular LED LG TVs as well, so we have definitely been fans of the LG TVs and WEBOS user interface. We also have Samsung phone and other mobile devices so I was excited to see what this TV was all about. We ordered the 48" S90F model. As with any OLED TV, the picture quality is absolutely superb! The resolution, clarity, color saturation, brightness, etc. were all great right out of the box. I assume it is upscaling to 4k but not sure (I've only had it set up for 1 afternoon, so I haven't had a chance to explore all of the settings very deeply yet). Setup was very intuitive as well. As with any new smart TV, it took a bit of time to get all of the streaming serves set up. But the process was easy, as was the rest of the setup process. The only con of the setup process that I can think of is that the I wish the available apps to add to you home menu were better organized. There are seemingly 100s of apps available but they don't seem to be organized in any way. We were looking to ad Kanopy but had to scroll the whole list to find that it is not available. We did finally notice that there is an option to search for apps but didn't see that until we done. But it would still be nice if the apps were organize in some obvious fashion. The user interface is very nice as well. It lays everything out in an organized manner. Considering the plethora of viewing sources (live TV, wired inputs and streaming services), that's really nice. It's easy to find any source you want to watch. I also love the remote! It is small, intuitive, with very few buttons and is easy to hold. I like that the volume/channel buttons are toggles that stick up a little, making it very easy to find them without looking (this has always been frustrating with LG remotes). Unfortunately, the mute function is toggled by pressing down on the volume toggle, so I do have trouble muting the TV while trying to change the volume. Finally, I added the remote to my smartphone. It was super easy to add by just scanning a QR code displayed on the TV during setup. The smartphone remote app is very nice too. As I mentioned, we haven't had this TV set up for very long, so I am sure there is a lot to learn. I am excited to explore more features of this TV. On that note, this TV did not come with a printed User Manual. Only a few pages of quick setup, etc. And even that was printed in multiple languages. However, I was able to download the User Manual from the Samsung website and it seem very thorough (261 pages). Just a sign of the times, I guess Overall, I really do like this TV (maybe more than the LG TVs we have). Being into the Samsung mobile eco-system, we have always been impressed with their quality and features. We have always been dedicated to LG TVs but may just make the jump to Samsung. I definitely recommend considering this TV if you are looking for an OLED TV. ... show more
