  • Q-Symphony Now Works!
The media could not be loaded. I originally purchased this TV to work with the Samsung HW-Q60T Soundbar which on Samsung's website described them as working together in order to provide the Q-Symphony function. Well the long and short of it is that it never worked since I purchased it back in December of 2020 which was definitely a bummer since I had been trying to resolve it since then. But, today, two years later and to my surprise, I decided to check the audio settings on the TV and they had all changed. I now have the TV+[AV] Soundbar Q6 option for the sound output. I have to say that I am absolutely floored! I have never seen in my many years in the AV business, a company come back to a two year old product and fix it. Absolutely appreciate it! The Q-Symphony audio is so much better than what the soundbar can deliver on it's own. I just now watched a movie and I didn't have to mess with the audio at all and the picture and the sound were amazing. If anyone who works at Samsung happens to read this review, I just wanted to say thank you! ... show more

  • Absolutely Love This TV!
As an individual who prides himself as tech savvy, I stay updated with technology, especially phones and televisions, because they are forever advancing in an ever so hastily manner. Now I've read an abundance of reviews before purchasing this television because it was time for an upgrade and all I can say is WOW! I absolutely love this TV! I read some other reviews hating on the build of the plastic legs or maybe it didn't have the features they want or even that the remote is not to their liking, well this is not one of those reviews! The remote is simple and easy to use! The legs of the TV are sturdy in my opinion and do the TV justice and give a pleasant modern look. And the picture quality is outstanding, gives my gaming and movie experience a fresh, bright and clear look! I'm new to QLED but I will say the color quality is superb! It even pairs with my Amazon Alexa's as it has it built into the TV. I am very happy with my purchase and I "WILL" be purchasing a 65" for my living room! I'm pleased to say overall this TV is everything I need in an upgrade and look forward to what SAMSUNG has to offer in the future! Sincerely a satisfies customer! ... show more

  • Good picture quality, some questionable design decisions
Size: 43 in
We bought this to replace a 4 year-old Samsung TV whose picture was beginning to have problems. I don't know if this is typical of flat-screen TV lifetimes, but the Sony Trinitron that "old" Samsung replaced was more than a decade old and still had an excellent picture. TL;DR: This is a very nice 43 inch television at a good [discounted] price, with some caveats that may or may not apply to most buyers. PROS: Excellent picture quality. Manual functions: finally, a flat TV one can turn on/off, change volume and channels when you can't find your remote control. The controls are hidden and not easy to access, but at least they exist. Set up was quite easy. SURPRISE: This model has an "ambient mode" which we had thought was limited to those ultra-expensive wall-mounted Samsungs. It allows you to set the normally blank screen to any of a number of supplied images or your own photos. I have no idea what this will do to your electric bill if you use it, but once in a while it may be a nice treat. CONS: The ARC is assigned to HDMI-2. This is a problem for those of us with old DVRs that recognize only HDMI-1 and HDMI-2. The TV does have an optical input that you can use for, for example, a Sonos Beam. Why Samsung decided to make HDMI-2 rather than HDMI-3 the ARC option is beyond me, and I sincerely hope they change this in future models. The distance between the feet is 32.6". We hoped it would fit on our stand which is 32.5" wide. What's 1/10 inch, right? Wrong. We forgot that these feet are very, very, very narrow. So, as we had to do with the 32" inch model we bought earlier this year, we created extensions with heavy duty cardboard and have taped both the feet and the cardboard down to within an inch of their lives. We are hoping that between that and the earthquake straps, we have sufficiently secured the TV. Samsung informed us that the switch from a central base to these widely spaced feet was to allow people to put their external sound bars underneath the TV. (See Hints.) At the very least, they should have made the feet wider or made 3-point feet rather than 2-point feet. The Samsung Hub now has extremely tiny icons, presumably to fit more on the screen. They are very irritating. Our Xfinity icon is black. We can't, apparently, move it to the first position on the left. So every time we turn the TV on, the pointer is on the Free TV icon and we inevitably overshoot the Xfinity icon when we move right. I honestly can see no reason at all for 1) the smaller icons or 2) the inability to focus the Hub on Xfinity, which is our primary channel. HINTS: When we first set up the TV, we couldn't change cable channels with the remote. What happened? We had positioned our Sonos Beam in front of the TV. Wrong move. Samsung's IR ( and its manual controls) are centrally located on the bottom of the TV. The Beam interrupted that signal. So we moved the Beam underneath the TV. After setting up the Beam with the Optical connector, we were unable to change the volume with the Samsung remote control. Solution (thank you Sonos help staff): scroll way, way, way over to the far right of Sources until you get to "Universal Remote". Select it and choose the Home Theater Option. Tell it the model number (for the Beam, it is BEAM1US1BLK). Then Samsung will prompt you with a power test. This will not work with the Beam. However, that didn't matter. We exited the set up function and our Samsung remote can now control the Optical volume. We've had the TV up and running for only a week and will update this post if we discover anything else we think might be useful. ... show more

  • I AM IMPRESSED!!
Size: 43 in
This is my first 4k Tv and i have no regrets buying it at all, when i first starting watching it I didn't understand why the Picture quality looked well...not 4k lol, come to find out to display 4k with a 4k tv the program needs to be running in 4k so unfortunately most Cable channels (and some YouTube videos) won't look all that great But still get Upscaled, for those who stream Hulu, Netflix etc. it will be running in 4k HDR. The colors and overall contrast are just stunning, sound and bass are exceptional , i got this Tv for the PS5 and i can't wait, please Use 4k HDMI for the FULL 4k experience , if you don't have one they are super cheap so just make the additional purchase thank me later. Don't let the bad reviews warp your judgement everything gets bad reviews, if you have your eyes set on this tv go for it. ... show more

Size: 43 in
WOW WOW WOW. This TV is not only one of the best, it is the best TV on the market. Samsung has the best technology on the planet. Nobody beats the SAM'S Nobody. The remote only have 14 buttons on it, but it's still friendly easy to find everything you want all in one place, AMAZING. Picture quality is stunning 95% of Picture quality is in 4K. I highly recommend anyone to any one of the Samsung QLED TV'S you'll never regret your purchase. Set up was easy with the Samsung (smart things app). If you don't know how to set it up I will be more than happy to help thank you. Have a question please don't hesitate to contact me. ... show more
