When screen is dark it shows blotches of ligh spread around. The sound is atrocious. It goes from not being able to hear to incredibly loud. No matter what I've try with the equalizer, the sound is unreal and difficult to understand if you don't have subtitles on. This tv was a great purchase for me. Replacing my 3 year old Vizio which was a pile of garbage. Picture is better, controls are better. User interface is better and much more responsive. Only complaint is the sound out of the speakers. Because the tv is so extremely thin, the speakers are lacking in bass. I highly recommend buying a soundbar to accompany this tv. Also wish I would have gone with a 50 inch but couldn’t justify spending $200 more to get it. $400 for this tv was a great deal. Unfortunately it looks like they raised the price a week after I bought mine. Still probably worth it though. ... show more

Great TV. I was hoping to purchase a second one for the guess bedroom and I was waiting for it to go on sale, but the price was increased instead. They did lowered it from the recent price hike.     • Streaming content only looks good if you have high bandwidth and quality content.
I use it for a computer monitor. I am able to write in one window, while I look at a website or scanned book in another window. I couldn't do that with my previous smaller monitor. Since I use it as a computer monitor, I hate that I have to reselect my PC every time I turn on the monitor. That's never happened before. I'd like the source to remain constant until I change it. The screen is very bright, and I'd like to dim it a bit, but I can't find a brightness control. ... show more

    • Unbelievably Difficult TV to Use
I need to preface this review with the fact that I have historically only used TV’s with Roku or Fire TV devices attached, or smart TV’s with Roku imbedded. So, with that said, this TV is unbelievably difficult to set up and use in comparison to my previous experiences with comparable TV’s. Nothing is intuitive and the interface is unnecessarily cluttered and difficult if not impossible to customize. There are numerous apps preloaded, which is fine. But if you don’t subscribe to some of these apps or don’t use them … too bad. You can’t delete them. Moreover, you can’t simply download apps that are available on Roku or other platforms, they just aren’t available for download on this TV. Even more frustrating is Samsung forcing “sponsored content” onto the TV that you can’t remove or disable. I’ve spent an inordinate amount of time Googling how to delete or add apps to this TV to no avail. So, despite having a good picture, the speakers are poor, the remote is difficult to use (although solar charging feature is pretty cool), and nothing is intuitive about this TV. I’m disappointed I purchased it and regret doing so. Save yourself the headaches and frustration and just buy a TV with Roku or Fire TV imbedded, you will be so much happier than dealing with this TV. ... show more
