I was robbed. When I tried to use the microwave, it would not heat anything. I got an error message C-D1 implying the door was opened. It was not. The unit was defective. I contacted Amazon, and they sent me a return label with instructions to use that label and take the unit to the post office where I picked up the microwave. It required me to pay the postage. The cost me $84.00 dollars. Amazon said they would refund me $279.58 and $3.99 in return shipping costs.... I bought a piece of junk. This is really wrong!!! ... show more

Samsung has a fantastic customer service and great app. I found this out the hard way we had a built-in microwave that died. It was about this exact size so here we are replacing our built-in with this countertop model. You can buy the attachments separately to make this a built-in there is a feature on there where the door automatically locks so you can’t just pop the door open and get your food out you can disable this but anytime your power goes out the setting reverse. It’s something to know, but it just does not make a difference to us because you can easily turn it off. You can also turn off the beeping which drives me crazy. I’ve been pleased with it. I will tell you the inside of this is black, which is great because inevitably something always spills inside the microwave and then there’s that weird discolored spot in the back of it that looks off you can’t see anything in the inside of this because the entire thing is black comes with a warranty, make sure you register it on your Samsung SmartThings app there is a noise while it is cooking. It is not a silent one, but it looks great and performs well. ... show more

The “unlock” feature is the most unnecessary and frustrating microwave element I’ve ever encountered. No idea why anyone would think people would want to *have to* press an unlock button before the regular open button will open, but it’s really stupid. If I had been given the choice to buy any other microwave, I would have; but I was given the chance to buy this one for very cheap (used) and I did. If youre expecting a properly refurbished product look somewhere else. The item looks like some person fixed it in his basement and it was their first time giving it a try. I'm not happy with how they bolted together this microwave. Multiple different types of screws barely hanging on or weren't put in properly. Pieces dented and ceramic is chipped away , door wouldn't open without me messing with it. Overall the quality is not worth the price in my opinion, just spend the extra money on a new one to avoid any problems. ... show more
