This little thing is amazing. I'm a professional transcriptionist, and my fingers fly across a keyboard all day long. Trying to use a phone keyboard is torture. I discovered that most foldable bluetooth keyboards are smaller than normal, which is difficult for someone like me to use. This, though, being a full-size version, is perfect. It is surprisingly sturdy when opened. I tried using it on my lap, and yes, it actually works. I wouldn't want to do a marathon session like that, but it does stay open and doesn't try to fold in on itself during use. The way the keys are situated where they slide open over the hinge is why it seems to be more sturdy. I had my choice between either getting a number pad on the right or getting the touch pad. I'm glad I opted for the touch pad. The scrolling works incredibly well. I feel like I'm on a laptop computer with a mouse. I wish I had bought this years ago. I often have to work in the backseat of a car with my laptop strapped to a headrest, and use a separate mechanical keyboard and mouse put on a lap desk just so I can work on Word documents while someone else is driving. This solves the hassle of bringing all of that. Connecting to bluetooth is a cinch. The initial setup was no problem. It was just like every other device. After that, the only thing I ever have to do is flip the switch on the keyboard. It goes to sleep if I'm not using it, so even if I forget, it doesn't matter. Currently typing this review while using the Samsers keyboard right out of the box. This is one great little device! I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 Ultra and was able to connect and set this up in seconds. I did a bunch of research and knew that I wanted something that I could use when I'm out and about without having to buy a heavy (and overly expensive) keyboard case, and this fits the bill better than I could have imagined. It's small enough that it's convenient to be brought with you everywhere, but big enough that it doesn't feel like you're typing on a travel keyboard. The keys have GREAT feedback (very clicky for anyone who cares about that kinda thing) and I'm honestly so impressed. I thought the trackpad would feel foreign to me, but it's so comfortable to use. Oh, and you get a bonus phone/tablet stand which is also lightweight, fits in the little bag with the keyboard, and it holds up my big ole' samsung tablet, which was a complete plus in my book. Overall this keyboard works really great, is an awesome value for the money, it's easy to use and set up, and if you're on the fence about purchasing I say "go for it!" If I can, I'll come back and update this review in a month or so to let you know if I still feel this way but so far I say, "KUDOS SAMSERS!" 👏 ... show more

I like the keyboard very much. It folds and is small enough to fit in a laptop bag or carry-on. The mouse pad takes time to get used to.it also comes with a phone or a small tablet holder, which comes in handy. It's easy to use and is not too heavy. Bought to pair with an Android tablet and it was very easy to do so. Seems to be made very well and sturdy, would make it great if you need a key board for work on the tablet, it pairs via blue tooth and did so very easily. Come with a little velvet carrying bag with a drawstring and charging cable. The only thing I couldn't figure out was how to use the mouse pad to pinch and zoom, although I don't know if you can but it does give you some ways do things whether it be Apple or Android based for use. ... show more

    • A bit pricy but portability and full-size layout turns any smart device into a workstation
I tried the EJDO portable bluetooth option and its compact size is great for portability, actually fits into a back pocket easily...but that's where the value ended for me due to shortcuts in physical design that reduced certain keys to a fraction of the size of their counterparts. This defect actually affected my typing accuracy due to muscle memory and when reaching for keys that I have long known to be there for over 25 years--my fingers just couldn't find them. ENTER this option! This is actually well-designed, obviously a bit bulkier in terms of portability but the compromise is well-worth it to me. I can use the accompanying stand with my Z-Fold 4 and Office productivity software and my phone turns into a mini-laptop with the SAMSERS Bluetooth Keyboard. There are no compromises in terms of physical workmanship or keyboard layout, which is what hindered my experience with the other option and sent me clamoring for an alternative. This meets my expectations but feels super pricey. I was willing to pay tho, just for the option to be able to generate quality documents, on the fly, when I am attending seminars or what not. Some desktop, though very minimal, real estate is needed for comfort of use, however not necessary...but it will impact its strengths. Great product, would buy again. ... show more

I wanted to grab a keyboard with a trackpad for my Steam Deck to use when installing stuff or playing the occasional mouse/kb game in Desktop Mode. This kb/pad combo works really well! There are a few minor annoyances: * I’m not a huge fan of the always-blinking Bluetooth indicator light. It’s a little distracting, even blinking as slow as it does. * I hit space with my left thumb. The protruding left bottom hinge is a little in the way for my normal positioning. * The velvet bag came with light markings on it that I had to clean off by dampening the spot and rubbing the cloth gently against itself. It also doesn’t have any way to carry a charge cable or the phone stand without being up against the keyboard. * The trackpad presents as a mouse over Bluetooth, so can’t be configured to do trackpad things in SteamOS. It also has very low sensitivity by default, which can’t be changed in Game Mode. I wish the device let me up the sensitivity via Fn keystrokes. * The trackpad is an odd shape for a horizontal screen. It’s great for two-finger scrolling though. * The biggest annoyance is that the top row defaults to media and laptop functions, not F-keys, even though those functions are all in the Fn color. Weirdly, this includes the Esc key, which is “Home” by default. Luckily you can lock the top row to Esc+F-keys, and Fn for the media/laptop, but you have to do this every time you turn the keyboard on. I wish it remembered the setting through power off it does when you switch between BT 1/2/3. These are outweighed by some of the things that really delighted me: * The keys are full-ish size! I can touch type on this. * The space bar is big enough to hit with either thumb! * It’s a compliant USB-C port that’ll charge with a C-to-C cable from a PD charger! I don’t have to use the C-to-A cable to fake a USB-C connection, and can use the cables I already have around. * It doesn’t lock open, but there is a little bit of resistance to folding again. Not sure if it’s the magnets or just geometry but it’s not floppy on my bed, and was even more or less usable on my lap. * The PU leather bit on the back has some clever geometry that extends out to cover the entire back when you unfold the keyboard. It may be part of the reason it’s not overly floppy on a soft surface. * The trackpad is sensitive over the mouse buttons. But if you have a finger somewhere on the main pad, sliding the finger on the button won’t move the cursor. This means you won’t reposition the cursor accidentally while clicking the buttons. As far as I can tell this is actually a thoughtful device feature, not just standard multitouch, as this behavior works whichever finger you touch the pad with first. Overall, I’m thrilled. This is just what I wanted. Maybe some future v2 model can remove the always-blinking blue light and put a pad sensitivity adjustment on the Fn keys somewhere.     • Good option for functional portability
Slick keyboard, very compact when folded and easy to connect to my devices. I use it as a living room keyboard for when the pc in my office is displaying on the TV, and the bluetooth works great through the walls (no dongle, actual bluetooth). One of the oddities of it is that the esc key defaults to opening a new browser tab, instead of acting like an esc key. You can get around that easily by doing fn+esc, and you can also turn on fn lock (fn+tab) to make that the new default behavior, though this unfortunately doesn't seem to stay on between power cycles. The track pad isn't the best, feels fine to touch but the cursor movement is just a little choppy. Works fine and can still be precise, but takes a few minutes to get used to. Still way more convenient than a standalone mouse. For the price, I have no complaints! ... show more

I love the portability, the features, and the layout. The typing experience is just about as good as any laptop I've ever used. The touchpad is ok—not as slick or responsive as the modern ones you find on decent laptops, but roughly comparable to laptops from the 2000s/early 2010s. Totally workable, and it does work pretty well with gestures, just could be more pleasant to use. Size is a fair compromise to maintain portability. Build quality is reasonable for the price. There's plenty of flex if it's not on a flat surface, so I'd be very gentle with it in those scenarios, but otherwise it shouldn't be a problem. A few great features that I assumed I wouldn't get on a cheap portable keyboard, but this does indeed do: 1- FN key lock (you can toggle it so the top row uses the F1, F2 etc., or the system functions on the standard press). 2- Touchpad lockout. 3- FULL SIZE SHIFT KEYS, AND NEARLY FULL SIZE SPACE BAR! 4- Separate Bluetooth profiles with easy toggling (3 profiles toggled by FN key + Q, W, or E), don't have to fuss with multiple devices being connected at once (which a lot of companies tout as a feature, but I can't stand). All at a reasonable price. So really, this would be an easy 5-stars for me, but unfortunately it won't stay paired with my Lenovo Android tablet for more than a few days/few uses. Furthermore, for whatever reason, I can't simply unpair it and re-pair it as my tablet will not find it even though the keyboard indicates it's in pairing mode. I'd wonder if the tablet has anything to do with it, but I've connected tons of devices to it and have never had an issue with anything else, so I can't help but assume it's the keyboard. It tends to be able to pair a day or two later, however. I highly recommend this keyboard under the assumption that mine is just defective (I'm well past the return/exchange window so I don't know for sure). If there were a more expensive version with a better trackpad, nicer materials, more solid build quality, and backlit keys, I'd buy it without hesitation (just being sure to make sure it's reliable before the return window closes). ... show more
