It works as described. You have to read the description carefully to understand its limitations. 15 pages at a time is not a lot, but it makes sense given that this is a relatively small hand press. It also closely matches the limitations of my paper cutter, so it's ok. It does mean that to use this for a single book of sheet music (my intended purpose) it takes a good while of separating pages, trimming them to width, stacking them neatly, punching them, and so on. If you're patient, the results are good (pictured). Regarding the coils included: 5/16" is about 8mm, and will accommodate about 80-90 sheets of paper max, as long as the smallest edge margin is used (to allow the book to open flat). You will need larger coils if you want to bind more. The holes are spaced at 6.5mm (1/4") intervals. Thus, the pitch of the included spirals is 4:1. You can use any width of coil with this machine, as long as the pitch is 4:1. The description should state this. Regarding the value of the product: You receive 50 coils, a pair of pliers, and the machine itself. I recommend comparison shopping and seeing whether these items add up to a favorable value at time of purchase. Currently, I am seeing similar bundles at half the cost, so I'm docking a star for value here. Hopefully the seller adds a coupon at some point.

I received this awesome spiral binding machine by the TIANSE store, and was pleasantly impressed by it. It is a pretty solid machine for being from an off-brand maker. I liked the color of it as well. It perfectly bonded some of my loose pages into a book and I didn't run into any problems with this machine while doing it. The binding was straight and aligned perfectly. I was quite impressed with it. Overall I would definitely get this product again if I had the chance to do so.
