I agree with the screws not aligning all. UPDATE*** Only a couple months in client almost fell back when the top of the chair became dismounted and screws popped out due to not being secured properly. I reached out to the company asking if they can send a replacement back and screws to which they said they were going to give me a $20 refund. I ended up getting a full refund through Amazon and I’m going to go to Costco to get longer screws to see if I can fix it. Horrible customer support and the chair is already having issues. Hopefully I can fix it up for proper use. Had to trash this chair and buy one that works. The back was never fully put together right and the company is HORRIBLE. No help. When I reached out to them for the new back to the chair, they said it was out of stock. They couldn’t ship the part to me then I reached back out to them and they told me it was past the warranty. Nothing they could do.. They know that these chairs are pieces of crap and will not back you if you buy it. BUYER BEWARE. Don’t waste your money it’s trash. ... show more

Let me start off by saying this is the best beginner salon chair with a friendly cost. I’m 5’2 and the heights this chair rest and expands to is perfect for me. My customers are mostly comfortable until we’re the 6th hour of their style, and by then it’s almost time to go. This chair isn’t light weight at all, but doesn’t quite support the heavier people the best; my suggestion is for you to keep the chair low and use a stepping stool and a kneeling chair. ... show more

Okay... some might say that this doesn't have all the bells and whistles as a traditional barber's chair, and they are right. But I bought it for what it is... a relatively simple salon chair that is functional and looks good. And against that criteria... an easy 5 stars. It is comfortable to sit in, it is pretty rugged, and it actually looks good in person. It will definitely last us for our lifetime of use. I think some may have complained about the rubber ring coming off the base, but ours hasn't, and I think it is an easy reason why... don't drag it across the floor! It actually creates a bit of a vacuum / suction to the floor when you place it and sit in it, giving it a very very solid feel when using it (GREAT!), and when you go to lift it, at first, until you break the suction, it makes it feel heavy. I might guess that would make some people try to drag it, but actually the chair isn't that heavy, so I have no problem lifting it to move it. The other point I'd make is that you really don't have to move it... i just did to find the best spot for it, but once in place, no need to move it again. I really recommend the chair. ... show more

The chairs appearance is fine, but the hydrolics are bumpy and its difficult to pump, especially if you have a heavier customer. It does not pump up very high. I'm 5'3" and need to bend to work on smaller people. The rubber on the edges of the base slip off if you have to move the chair. The chairs tip if too much weight is put on the foot rest. If the cost to recover my old chairs wasnt ridiculous I would have returned these. ... show more
