I like the color of the product, but I feel like it took forever to dry. I tried to give it a fair chance, but I didn't like it. I followed the directions exactly, but I still feel like the nail polish takes forever to cure. I will say, it doesn't chip, but it cracks and then dirt gets in the cracks. ... show more

    • Better but not great
First off, the color: it is very sheer. One coat hardly shows up. With two coats you still see the tip of my nail as whiter than the rest of the nail. By 3 it is more uniformily covered, HOWEVER, this is sooo streaky! At first I thought must be doing it poorly. But I can make $1 nail polish go on better then this and after several attempts I think it is just this polish. Ok, so UV gels are not worth the risk of cancer, so the idea of a non-uv gel is awesome. This nail polish gel is better then most nail polishes I have tried (from the drug store) This is thicker, less smelly, and does hold up better and longer the standard polish. It does dry harder. Usually I can scratch nail polish off my nail the same day it is applied and by the next day it is falling or chipping or worn through on the tips. With this, I can't scratch it off my nail. It has not chipped or flaked, but it does start to wear off the tips by day 3. So yes, it is an improvement. But do I think I will ever get 8 days out of it? No way. I am a busy mom, I have dishes to wash, kids to bathe, clothes to rub stain remover on. I cook, I clean, I wash my hands lots, it is just part of life. So, is this worth what the charge for this at some stores? No. Is it longer lasting then Dollar Tree brands? Yes. I had really high hopes for Salley Hansen Miracle Gel. But, with my experience from this color and the sugar top coat, it is no miracle and I am once again disappointed. ... show more

I really like the way this polish turned out! I tried it first without the top coat, and it still has a bit of that gel feel, and it stayed for awhile. The top coat does help it to pop, though. I only have light colors of this brand, so I am not sure if dark colors will be the same, but you will need more than just the two coats that the directions recommend. 3-4 thin coats seems to be enough before adding the top coat. The colors I got were In the Sheer (a very light pink, shown on my toenails) and Get Mod (white, on my fingernails) I ordered a couple other colors that I can’t wait to try out! ... show more
