Exactly what I wanted. It’s held up well and still looks brand new. I do not have furniture on it, but it has not been damaged by my cats or dog as mentioned in another review. Very nice mat. Lays flat right out of the packaging and is very sturdy. Very pretty design and soft to walk on. Open it outside and let it air out first. The chemical smell was terrible. It gave me an instant headache and I became nauseous. I had to open windows.

    • Nice looking but very fragile: ripped very easily
the rug is nice, it does have a bad odor as others have pointed out so I left it out on the deck for a bit to air out...the rug is very thin can be cut with scissors, but when I went to carry it into the house, it ripped (three feet rip) so while I can try and tape it, it's a bust for me because it is so fragile. Would it hold up to cleaning or scrubbing? Not so sure. ... show more

    • Rough handling can cause tearing.
I love the look and it is so easy to sweep or mop over it. One problem though . . . Sliding chairs over it causes puckering and tearing. If you like the look I suggest getting a hard clear mat to go on top of this to prevent tearing.

The mat arrived yesterday, and it was packaged very well. The label indicated product may have an odor that should dissipate after 24 hrs. Indeed, I did detect a plastic type odor upon opening. I let the mat air outside for 24 hrs, and true to manufacturers word, the odor was gone. It lays perfectly flat and looks lovely in my kitchen over my new LVP floor. This mat is a nice quality, and appears an exceptional value when you compare it to other vinyl mats available online. ... show more
