These pens write well and the ink doesn't skip. The gold shows up well on black and white paper. I got the pens to use in my Cricut with an attachment. I haven't used them for that yet but I do handwrite thank you notes with them for my small business. The gold makes it look extra fancy. Beautiful color and easy to write with!

I'm in the middle of doing my Christmas cards and had to stop to share the joy! I thought gel pens were for kiddies but I took a chance because of previous dissatisfaction with other gold pens. Was a little afraid these would look glittery, but they are metallic so they shimmer a little but not tacky. Previous gold ink pens - even super popular brands and expensive pens - were either too fine of a point, or they glopped ink in spots (and on my fingers). Some had ink that was a light color so it didn't look good on a white envelope. Had to be super careful about shaking the pen to pump it and discharging a little ink on a scratch paper. Even then the flow wouldn't be even. These pens solve all of it. Highly recommend. Just put pen to paper and it rolls great! Smooth and even. Dries almost instantly, but if you rub it instantly you could smear it, so wait a couple seconds before stacking envelopes. One pen lasts a long time (I'm through 30 cards maybe 20% of the ink level has been used - like I said, had to stop to share the joy), so maybe 150 envelopes? - but that's a guess. It came with 6 pens so I'm not in any danger. I've used Pilot, Sikura and roller balls. Will never use anything else.

I absolutely LOVE the Gelly Roll brand gel pens! I also LOVE the gold and copper colors and use them every opportunity I get. However, I was going to return this 6-pack after I realized the metallic sets I purchased contained 2 gold each and didn’t think it was necessary to be gluttonous and hoard 6 more until I was about out of the last of the pens in my gold pen supply. My 3-star review is because as it happened, I had final exams and color-code my notes for each class and the content and needed to use one of the pens in this pack and was not bothered to do rescind my decision to return the item. I chose a pen tout of the other a k and began to keep up the pace of taking needed notes. However, the pen worked for 1 letter and then it was that clear gel and EXTREMELY faded color that may have resembled Gold🤷♀️ (I’m being generous with this description), so I chose another from the pack, then another, another until I was through the 6-pa k with a piece of paper if final exam notes written in EXTREMELY SLIGHT gold clear gel ink. I decided maybe they need to be stored point side down to allow the gel to move down the barrel and the would be fine by the next morning. I got 1 1/2 decent flow if gold metallic gel ink and 5 duds. Now they are opened and one of them is used and I can’t return them but beware and be prepared to return if not working as it’s supposed to. If I had read the reviews before buying I probably would have passed on them from this seller. Now I have 5 clear colored gel pens if anyone is interested🤦♀️☹️.
