I purchased this sound bar because my television speakers started sounding less than good. My hope was this sound would take the place of my televisions speakers. For the price it was worth a try. I'm glade I took the chance. Not only does this sound bar sound good but it sounds better than my television ever did. What I really like about it is the rich sound, it can be used as a sound bar or separated as two speakers and it has a minimal foot print. Oh and it also has Bluetooth. I recommend this item especially if your not looking for a larger surround sound system but your want great sound. ... show more

Good, clear sound with placement flexibility. Bluetooth connection works great! I use the system for my gaming laptop setup. The line/aux connection goes to the back of my LG34G630A monitor which is connected to my ROG Asus laptop using the usb-c to display port connection @240hz. Speakers are separated standing on both sides of the monitor with the subwoofer on the ground. Speakers are a little muddy when connected as a soundbar fashion so I prefer them as towers. I believe it's due to the reflection of sound from the table it's laying on. The subwoofer has a decent low-end punch which works well. For reference, I own two SVS PB4000's which can reach 13hz with incredible output. This subwoofer is nothing like those but is very nice for my pc setup. The tweeters were the primary factor I purchased this combo. I like clarity and with the tweeter exposed, I get very clear audio! There was a negative with these speakers, though. There is some irritating port noise. If the volume is low then you won't notice it. I ran some files and found it's between 70 and 110hz where the port noise can be heard. We compared to my wifes soundbar and realized her's had it too. She has a different brand with no tweeter and 4 drivers. To fix this I removed the grill, which is only press-fit in to place. Just need small tipped tweezers to work on pulling it out slowly. Then I cut an oversized thick-celled foam piece I had, can use sound-panel foam if you have that. Push the piece flush in the port and press the grill back on. No more port noise and speakers still perform great for the price. I'll attach a couple images to show the foam placement. I ordered this same set of speakers for my wife's computer setup and did the foam fix for hers. Being able to seperate the speakers is a game changer for clarity and sound-stage width. The subwoofer is impressive considering the size and it's passive. I have no problem recommending these speakers for a pc setup. I can't comment to a TV setup because I have costly home theater components for that. ... show more

very good speaker, what is unknown is how to connect the speaker to the tv as Samsung TV's do not have an ARC connection point. If you have Direct TV there is an ARC connection point. Easy to use no programing, just plug and play.

If you're not an Audiophile, these sound pretty good. Much better than the TV's built-ins. I like the ability to make the soundbar into tower speakers. (It comes that way, you have to assemble it into a soundbar.) They look great around my living room tv. I did have some issues during setup. I tried the Optical setup first, but this disabled my TV's remote volume control, and ONLY the soundbar remote would control the volume. That's a no go for me. Then I tried the ARC setup. Everything seemed to work at first, it even turned off when I shut the TV. However, when I tried to watch TV there was no sound. Nothing until I turned on the Bluray player on HDMI 3. It only worked in ARC if ALL connected devices were powered ON. Another no go for me. AUX cable setup works, but my cheap TV won't let me adjust any sound controls if the Headphone jack is used. Still sounds better than the built-ins with all the sound controls enabled. It doesn't turn off with the TV, gotta do it yourself. I haven't tried the Bluetooth function. Ultimately it's not everything I hoped for, but I'm sure some of my difficulties were from the TV, not the soundbar. Hopefully it lasts. ... show more

AMAZING sound! I only write reviews for products that truly impress me. I bought this to show a movie to my students because the TV speakers were not great. Worked great. Then took them home and connected them to my home TV which had a Onn sound bar. These were SO much better and impressive. The bass is great and I can feel the subwoofer vibrate the floor. Music sound is awesome. And you can hear all the little background noises during movies. The option to have side speakers or sound bar is really great. Thoroughly impressed. ... show more

Not a bad little unit for the price, but extremely easy to hook up and connected to my tv in a couple of minutes. I had plenty of cable to run anywhere in my room I wanted. The base don’t provide a lot of bass, and can sound a little muffled. I haven’t tried to connect via Bluetooth that wasn’t what I was looking for. The speakers sound really good, I don’t get any distortion at higher volumes the clarity is better than I expected. The cords are long enough to run from one side of the room to the other. I like that there are multiple ways to connect them, multiple functions rather it’s Bluetooth or hard wired to the TV. For the price you are getting what you pay for, its not the highest of quality but that’s not what your paying for either. ... show more
