I purchased this sound bar to go with my new 43 in Roku tv. I previously purchased another sound bar on Amazon, but it would not pair with the tv through the optical cord, so I returned. I wanted a sound bar that was small and compact that would fit under the tv and on my stand, and this sound bar is a compact size. I did have to purchase a separate HDMI arc cable to connect the sound bar and tv, but the pairing was super simple and worked fine. I am completely blown away by the sound quality for the price. It has clear sound and deep bass, and I can adjust the volume on my tv with the tv remote by using the HDMI connection without having to switch remotes. For the price, size and quality, this gets 5 Stars! UPDATE: I was so impressed with the sound quality of this bar I decided to replace the sound bar in my main living room since it was an older system. Strangely enough, it does not sound nearly as good as the one in my den with a newer Roku tv. I think the sound difference and discrepancy is that the one that sounds so incredible has an e-arc function on the newer tv and the one that sounds mediocre uses only an arc function on my older Roku tv model. I give the e-arc sound option for this sound bar a solid 5 out of 5 but the with a regular arc connection I would only give this sound bar a 3 out of 5. ... show more

Amazing sound for the price. It's super easy to connect whether you use the 3.5mm jack or bluetooth. I haven't tried the optical line though. It slightly lacks bass, but given its size, it's understandable. I use it primarily for my desk PC, but have cranked it up fairly loud and it still packs a punch.
