So far this soundbar by Saiyin meets my expectations. I have an older TV with low bad sound. Easy to set up out of the box, I used the 3.5 mm aux connection and plugged it into the headphone jack on the TV. Turned on the speaker with the on button, turned off Bluetooth by pressing and releasing the M button (preset on, flashing blue light indicates bluetooth searching), turned on the TV, and that's it. The soundbar stays ON, does not go into sleep mode, it sits quietly and ready for the TV ON button to be pressed. I can't comment on quality for music, but the sound for my purpose is fine, no static, crackling, limited of course by TV capability. Plenty loud also, never take advantage of that capability. This small sound bar is incredible! I've been looking for a small sound bar for one of my PC's. I just returned a USB powered sound bar that was a huge disappointment. The description of the USB sound bar sounded really good, but the sound quality was terrible. Sound was distorted, staticky and poor volume control. The Saiyin sound bar is a powered, plug-in speaker setup, and the difference between this and the USB sound bar is night and day. The Saiyin has exellent sound quality with good bass and treble, and yet is less than 12 inches wide and fits under my monitor. Good for the price, but you can definitely tell it’s on the cheaper side. The sound is clearer than the TV speakers and it gets the job done for casual watching. Build quality feels light, but it works fine and is easy to set up. Solid budget option if you’re not expecting anything high-end.

The speaker blew on my little Samsung kitchen TV. I decided to try this little sound bar instead of buying a new TV. Setup was easy with included cables and it sounds better than the TV speakers did. Good value considering the alternative was buying a new TV.

    • You cannot lower or equalize volume for advertisements or the base sound, which is often too loud
There is no way to adjust the very, very loud base. Advertisement on the television are absolutely absurd loud. They should make a product with an equalizer on it to stop the marketing, loud noise nuisance. Sometimes the background noise is louder than the actual quality of the voice Although it says to put it on news and music it really doesn’t change much other than that is a good quality product if you’ve got the tolerance for extremely loud ads and very very loud background sound effects. ... show more
