Used as a dining room light over our 8’ table. This is one of my FAVORITE pieces of my home. I love glancing over from the living room and seeing this out of the corner of my eye. It’s a great size (I was nervous it would look too small for my room). I have 9’ ceilings and an 8’ heavy wood table I needed a fixture that would complement and not compete with the other elements that will be in this room eventually (new construction) and this has been such a WIN!! My only dislike is the assembly, there are a lot of pieces in the box and the instructions were kind of junk. If you are decent with copying the picture and working backwards from what it should look like then you will probably do ok. I consider myself fairly competent in assembly and building furniture and this wasn’t my favorite project to put together. LOL. There are still some places I want to tighten even after it’s been installed. Some elements were tricky to get as tight as I felt like it should be. A second pair of hands to hold things at the right angles while trying to tighten Allen wrench screws would have been helpful. I assembled this alone. Not impossible but you may cuss a little. It’s timeless and lovely. I’ve been told that there is a similar one elsewhere for a lot more money. Customer service is fantastic. You won’t regret buying this! I still love mine, bought it 3 years ago.

This chandelier is gorgeous! Great size for the entry way. I love the rustic looking wood with the gold/brass metal. It gives off a lot of light. Planning to add a dimmer light switch for it. This price beats anything similar at Home Depot or Lowe's and it by far the nicest one. The only issue I have is the chain and wire needs to be longer to install on a 20' ceiling. It's about a foot shorter than the last chandelier that I replaced this with. I'm also a little OCD and would have loved to be able to string the wire through the chain every 3 links but I couldn't because it would have been even shorter. Oh well. Again, I'm learning to live with it. Hence 4 stars. Other than that, it's beautiful. ... show more

They’re very beautiful… be careful with the screws. If you tighten them too tight, they will break and then instructions are very vague!

I like it once hung. I thought it had wood but it is all metal and the metal is painted to look like wood. When hung it still looks like wood. It's not terrible to put together. The chain is actually ample for a taller ceiling. Our second one we had to buy a chain for it.
