Features

  • [Engineered for Engineering-Grade Filaments] E2 is a high-performance filament dryer built for demanding materials. With industry-leading 110C heating capacity, it efficiently dries PA, PC, and reinforced filaments (CF/GF composites) in just 23 hours, ensuring smooth, precise prints
  • [3-in-1 Drying, Annealing & Dehumidifying] More than a simple dryer box, the E2 functions as a mini heat-treatment center. It combines drying, annealing, and a smart dehumidifying mode with silicone-sealed ports, dual-chamber insulation, a magnetic door with a gasket, and 5 packs of replaceable desiccants for long-lasting performance
  • [Rapid Heating & Superior Sealing] Powered by a 500W PTC heating unit, the E2 heats from 25C to 50C in just 20 minutes, reaching 70C in 30 minutes. Dual-layer housing and silicone-sealed plugs enhance insulation and moisture resistance, protecting filaments from humidity and brittleness
  • [Multi-Layer Safety Protection] The advanced control system features 5 safety monitors: auto temperature regulation, overheat alarm (+10C), heating failure alarm, fan error alert, and auto shut-off. Even at 110C inside, the outer shell stays below 60C for safe, worry-free operation
  • [Wide Compatibility for Multiple Spools] Supports 21KG, 22KG, or 13KG spools with diameters up to 250mm153mm. Compatible with industrial-grade filaments like ASA, PC, PA, PA-CF, PA-GF, and consumer favorites like PLA, PETG, ABS, and TPU. Works with 1.75mm, 2.85mm, and 3.0mm filaments

  • Hot box
Too expensive... yet I was able to utilize it more than my Creality Pi. Love it.

  • Expensive, but True High Temperature Dryer
So this is fantastic in that it actually allows me to reach high enough temperatures to dry filaments properly, especially filaments like PPS-CF, PPA-CF, and even PET-CF. Many of these filaments are both very sensitive to moisture, and require 80-100C to properly dry, leaving your options at an oven or this E2 filament dryer. These filaments need to be dry to ensure accurate prints at reasonable print speeds, and ensure that the final prints are strong and look good. This actually reaches the temperatures it claims to reach, verified with an external thermocouple. It will indeed hit 110C. It is much louder than other filament dryers I've used though, but still blends into the background. The fan is likely much more powerful in this one to ensure good temperature distribution throughout the chamber. It is also a heavy dryer, and built much better than any other dryer I've used. Like it really is heavy for a filament dryer, but it has to be built that way to not warp at the temperatures it can hit. Now, for some of the downsides. The control screen is... suboptimal. It is fussy and you can only go forward through the options, and change them one at a time. It's also not easy if you want to dramatically change something like the time or temperature and is quite slow. It is also super expensive - I could buy a cheap lab oven for the price of this, and that will be much bigger and hit higher temps! That brings me to the last downside - 110C is excellent for drying, but it's just slightly shy of what I'd want for high quality annealing temperatures - 130C minimum would be adequate for PET, PPA, and PPS. 110C might be okay for PET, but is honestly too low for a good anneal temp for PPA and PPS. So close. So, long story short, this is an expensive but high quality and durable filament dryer. It is a very meh annealing machine though, as it doesn't quite get hot enough. ... show more

  • Excellent Quality, Accurate Specs
I've been using this filament dryer for a couple of months now, and while I do have a few minor complaints, overall it is definitely a 5 star product. If you're reading this, you're not a lightweight when it comes to 3D printing, so I am not going to go into some exhaustive explanation about what this filament dryer box is for. You already know. My prints are better with far less warping. This big guy can hit 110 degrees, which puts it at the top end of dryer boxes with that spec, and that extra heat makes a difference. This does work on a wide variety of filaments. It controls temp and moisture level, which is pretty mandatory with some filaments, and it also increases my print time and accuracy. These are all great things. Setup was a bit of a slog. I ended up using a translator on my phone to help me out with the instructions. I am also not the world's biggest fan of the user interface, but I have gotten used to it. Some reviews mention price, but after using this exclusively for long enough to give it a full review... you're paying for quality. It's well built, well made, and it's an investment. I am not spending $150 multiple times on cheap boxes or low grade ovens when I can spend more one time. Noise level isn't that bad. The fan is doing what it has to do, and I am okay with that. The foot print is large, so look at the measurements before ordering to ensure your space can accommodate it. Overall, this is a great needed addition to my printing setup. ... show more

  • Great if you know what you are doing.
Firstly this dryer box works well, heats up really quickly, can handle a large range of filaments types and is multifunction for finishing prints. But it is definitely not for the casual engager in the hobby. This is a great accessory if you already have a full home maker space. You should have an external venting system because the vent for the dryer is on the bottom of the machine. It's about the same footprint as our printer, so you need to have the space/setup to allow the filament to feed from the heater to the printer. The biggest drawback is really a one time issue, setup is difficult and took a lot longer then I originally expected. The interface is kind of confusing and the instructions are in both German and English intermingled, so that adds to the confusion, especially because a key part of the instructions "Appendix 1" is only labeled in German. So seems very functional, but you gotta know what you're doing, and once you set it up it became part of the system and it just works. One thing to note, and really dependent on where you print, it is noisier then our printer. ... show more

  • Horrible user interface. No automatic venting!!!
This device only has one thing going for it considering it's price point - it is the only kid on the block that can hit 110C. The downsides are unfortunately astounding considering the price. For this price I expect it to have an automatically opening vent that prevents moisture from coming in when the unit is done drying. For this price I would highly recommend you look for an alternative solution that is better. Perhaps an oven would be a better option. You can dry it in there at 110C and then you have higher temp options to anneal higher temp materials. For $200 you can get yourself an inline filament drier like the one from thordsen3d that can push 190 deg and dry nylon as you print. The leftover 150 bucks can be used for something nice that has true venting capabilities like the Creality Space Pi X4 Filament Dryer ... show more
