I am very happy with this carseat that we purchased about 6 months ago. I like that is not extra bulky so it doesn't take up extra space and 2 other passengers can sit in the back of the car next to the carseat, while the carseat is still wide enough that my 2 1/2 year old son can sit comfortably. It was a great price compared to anything else I saw, the look is nice, it was easy for my husband to install and it is easy to strap in my son. The only negative parts are: 1. that the cupholders are always falling out so we usually don't use them. 2. As the child grows you need to adjust the size of the staps and that is not as easy on this carseat as it was in our infant carseat. Overall would definately reccommend this carseat. ... show more

I bought this to use in my car for my 20 month old granddaughter that I keep every Friday. It was not any harder to install than any other car seat I have dealt with but it would not tighten enough to keep it from rocking no matter what I did. I tried the rolled up towel trick but that did not work either. My son even tried to tighten it. He ended up using the tether strap on the back of the carseat and hooking it to the front of the actual seat to keep it secured. This is in addition to using the hooks and the lap belt. I am sure it will be fine once we turn her forward facing. But I am disappointed in the fact that they advertised this one for both rear and forward facing. But the worst part aside from not fitting tight enough is the button on the 5 point harness is the most difficult button I have ever had to deal with! It takes me 3 or 4 tries and having to use all the force I have to get this button to release. I am concerned that this is a safety issue. The seat has a nice padded cushion and it looks comfortable. I also like the 2 cup holders. That is great for snacks on the road. It seems easy to clean also. I am so disappointed that it has been so difficult to install and the release button is such a pain. ... show more

I bought this for a travel car seat to use with my one year old on the plane and at our destinations. It’s easy to bring with at the airport since it only weighs 10 pounds. It’s easy to install, especially if you lift the fabric up to pull the strap tight. It also fits on my travel stroller perfectly with a strap through the forward facing belt path. (I have the ergo baby metro plus city stroller for reference. It fits in the overhead bin on the plane.) ... show more

I love this car seat, it’s inexpensive and works just as well as all other seats. I always use the anchor feature because I feel it’s more secure & once you do it the first time it’s a breeze. It’s also easy to take apart and throw all the pieces in the wash, which is important! I will say one thing, we travel a lot, we take the seat out often and it’s been checked into many airports. I feel the wear and tear of taking it out and it being “manhandled” frequently did do some damage to the seat. After 2 years I bought another one because the head adjustment handle did break. Overall I would definitely recommend this car seat and it could have lasted much longer if it wasn’t being taken out and thrown around so much. ... show more

    • I hate the push buckle to release.

I have a hard time opening this buckle. I miss the old school style push button to release. I can’t use my thumbs to release this because it’s so hard to press so I use my knuckles to push down to release and it’s still so hard- so much that it hurts and takes me forever to release. I really hate this style of release button but it seems that this is style that all brands use now. Maybe on other brands the release button isn’t so difficult to press- but on this brand I hate it. This seat is also VERY bulky esp in rear facing in the middle seat. It touches both my front seats in rear facing mode. Installation was not that simple imo. One installed, the baby seem to be comfortable enough. I am hoping forward facing it won’t be as bad a fit in my car otherwise I will have to move it from the middle. I bought it because of price as it’s a backup seat to use occasionally. ... show more
