This safe can not be fireproof or water proof. It’s just a thin steel box with no kind of heat insulation what so ever. No gasket on the door to stop water. No where in the contents of the safe or instructions, does it say it’s fireproof or waterproof only in the Amazon description. I returned it.

The media could not be loaded. Having somewhere to secure my important belongings is so important to me. I absolutely love everything about this one. It is fireproof and waterproof, just incase of any emergency. It has a safe and solid structure, with a very secure locking mechanism. There is a removable shelf, so this is good incase you have more or less things to store. There is a key you can use, or you can set a pin in order to access your things. I love this because in case of emergency, I will not have to search frantically for a key. Something like this is good for storing important documents, cash, weapons, and more. I love this because it always bothered me leaving weapons unlocked. I have children and having them secured makes me feel so much better. This safe is also anti-theft and anti-pry, so no one will be getting into it without a code or key This safe is also just the perfect size. Not too big but not too small. It is easy to store and hide. It also comes with screws and other materials to mount this safe to the floor. I am so happy with my purchase. The price and quality is unmatched. I definitely think everyone should have a safe in their house, and this one is the perfect thing for an everyday household. I love it!

And I had a major problem with the seller, (the description of the item in the ad was totally different then the item I received) but he went out of his way to make it right, and refunded my money.

The safe did not have pilot holes for floor mounting. I guess they were not forward thinking enough to pre drill and then seal in the event you did not use them

It is not fireproof. If you do want to return it you have to pay for the shipping your self. its to thin and the instructions even say that it's not fireproof or waterproof. It is false advertising

I did a ton of research and comparison shopping and finally settled on this safe, despite some poor ratings. I haven't experienced ANY of the problems that others have mentioned.Wanting to keep those important documents and sentimental items are crucial. What I like so much about this product is that it's able to protect your possessions whether there is a fire or flood.
