I was looking for the largest safe I could buy for $150. At 2.8 cf, this was it. The metal is pretty thin and it certainly is not fire proof. It looks good. I purchased a fireproof document bag to use with it. You get what you pay for from China.

Certainly more convenient that the bank safety deposit box. My only small criticism is that I find the pad numbers a bit hard to read in less than bright light.

I guess for the price it's not bad. Good enough. Also inside the paint must have pooled in the corner and broke up in chunks in the corner.

It's is ok for a small safe to store things you don't want walking off but I don't think it would do much to stop a burglar. The front panel and handle are made of plastic. The electronics are lacking. I never could get the alarm to trigger. If you press * or # it will "wake up" the panel. If you press # you can enter your code and get into the safe. If you hit the * button, it goes into resetting the date & time. It does have some nice features. You can set it to require just a passcode, or a key and a passcode. It also provides a secondary key so you can open it without a passcode (requires the 2 different keys). It also has a lockbox inside the safe that requires a different key. In short, if you need a place to store important documents and things you would like to keep the kids away from, it will work great. If you want a safe that burglars have a hard time with, I'd go with something a little heavier.

Received this safe a few days ago and overall was happy with it, the packaging was pretty well done, having a little bit of damage to the bottom of the safe with the paint being chipped off. The manual call this a metal detector... Which I'm guessing is a Chinese translation error. The safe seems moderately robust, the door is without a doubt. The most durable thing on the safe, the side and back walls appear to be fairly thin metal. Not fireproof. Comes with multiple keys to work. All functions and electronic lock, multiple methods of accessing the safe. Not really made for fast entry. Not bad for the price, but not the best you can get

Never owned a safe, but have been looking at a few for awhile. This one is not tiny but smaller than many I've seen, which is what I wanted. It actually has more locking bolts than bigger ones I've looked at, which is pretty darn reassuring and impressive. Plenty heavy without being back breaking to move. Run with yes, move, no. Two sets of three keys and a password has any owner covered. Perfect size for all described and then some. Smart operation with time and date are a nice bonus. Nice looking enough to leave out, yet small enough to hide or mount to a wall. Has two predrilled holes on back for more permanent storing. Not fireproof but no biggie. Just ordered a fireproof pouch to put inside. Did need to contact seller on setting date. Got stuck entering date, not month or year. They got back to me in less than 24 hours. Quite the customer service! Their help worked like a charm. Alarm sound is not loud, but great safe for the price. Locking bolts make up for it. Will come in handy for years, if not decades to come.

This is one stylish digital safe!!! Great looking, functional safe that will keep sticky fingers from your stuff. I keep a lot of product in my safe and safety of the product is paramount. (IMPORTANT! This safe is NOT fireproof in any way!!!) There is a digital lock, two hidden key holes and two master keys included. Inside the safe is another lock box with keyed entry. Great funtional safe... keeps your valuables from growing legs and walking away!!! I love this safe!
