It’s surprisingly hard to find a decent, navy blue, round rug. I’ve looked and looked and finally took a chance on this one because of the amount of reviews. The thing I dislike is that it says it’s a solid Navy, and it does have stripes in it for sure. I was hoping it didn’t, as a couple reviews stated, but it does. I wanted just solid navy. The rug itself isn’t bad though. Vacuuming it one directions makes it a much lighter shade than the other direction, which is both normal, and annoying, with dark carpeting. I did have to get the 9’ diameter, which is slightly too big for my table in the pictures. I had a 6’ jute rug prior to that, which was too small, and jute is always so dusty. 8’ diameter would have been perfect, but that wasn’t an option. So it looks a little wonky under my table, but better than before. At least my chairs won’t slide off of it when pushed out. Much easier to vacuum than jute as well. For the price, it’s a good rug. I had planned on seeing how this one came out and then ordering the giant size for another room, but now that I see in person that it has the lines through the navy, I may keep trying to hunt down the perfect, solid navy rug again. I think overall, I will keep this rug for under my table though. UPDATE 12/6/24: Just purchased my 5th one of these rugs. All different sizes, and this time in a 10x14 brown color. I really hoped for a solid color, and in one direction, it seems almost a solid brown. If you walk and look from the opposite side though, it looks like a super bright tan, not brown. It’s so odd. The material is almost like a velvet in coloring. It does have the lighter stripes throughout it, just like my navy ones do. I do have one really great navy runner that is solid and I love that one so much! It seems like every single rug is going to be different. For the size, the price isn’t the worst, and it’s a nice color from looking the one direction. I do hate the color it shows from the other direction, but it may be tolerable enough to keep it. It is soft, slightly cushioned, doesn’t shed or smell, and not the most expensive for the size. Those are huge pros. Con is definitely the coloring being off every direction you look at and the stripes in each rug.

The rug didn't come in a box, folded, up or otherwise creased. It's a nice blush pink, and feels alright underfoot. It's not the special fancy type of rug you get from a carpet place, but it's just right, I think for a kid's room. Or my half of the office, where everything is unashamedly pink. Speaking of the office, if you have a rolling chair, I shouldn't have to warn you to not roll over the edge of the carpet. A pad underneath will alao work wonders for the comfort, so splurge a bit and spoil yourself. I don't have one yet, and it slides over my carpet and I have to drag it back into place, so bummer. Still though, I will say it again.. rugs in rolls ONLY. Anything else is a glorified blanket.

I, like several other reviewers, have a dog who refuses to walk on laminate floors. The pads of his feet are rough and crunchy, and the laminate has no traction whatsoever. So he slips and slides like he's skating on ice! I'm a repeat buyer. I bought my first 3 rugs 3 years ago, for a long hall. I recently decided to buy another for between the living room and kitchen. Now my boy doesn't have to keep running around the long way to join me in the kitchen. Good grief!!! The things we do for our fur babies!!! The rug quality is excellent. They are very thick and wear very well. All of mine were rolled and packaged extremely well, so there was no damage. Like all rugs, they were a bit ripley and wavy when I first unrolled them. But you just roll them backwards the other way, and work out the ripples, takes about a day or so and they lay flat. My three older ones need to be cleaned, as the lighter gray will show the dirt over time. But I'm just going to use my carpet cleaning machine. I thought about getting black to hide the dirt, but decided against it. I'm not sure about the other rugs people get, but the rugs I've received, at least the first three, have a lay to them. Meaning that the rug fibers have laid down in one direction. It's not of any significance except when you vacuum them. It's easier to vacuum going in one direction than in the other. That's about it. The other thing that I noticed is that my new rug doesn't match completely color-wise to the existing rugs. It's actually a little bit darker. Well, it looks different depending upon what end you're standing on . From one end it looks silvery Gray. From the other end it looks like a little bit darker charcoal gray. Perhaps it'll have a lay to it also like my other three. And in time they'll match. I guess that's to be expected as dye lots are always different. And one last thing. Years ago I read a tip online about how to make your rugs non-slip. These rugs will slip unless you do something to prevent it. I use 100% silicone caulk, typically white so I can see it easily. (Low oder if possible or do it outside) After the rugs have laid out and are flat, I caulk thick lines of silicone around the edges and several down the length, and then I drag a putty knife lightly across each line to flatten them out somewhat. Then I let it cure. Keep all kids and animals away until hardened!!! ...usually several hours at least. The rugs will now pretty much stick to the floor and not slide. They can be picked up easily so you can clean under them which you will need to do from time to time. You will also need to turn them over and vacuum the back side and get all the cat litter, cat hair, dog hair, or whatever else sticks to the silicone caulk. You only have to do this when the rugs start to move again, which in my house is every couple of months or so. A couple times a year after I vacuum to the back of the rugs with a Dust Buster, I use a sponge and some Windex to wash off the caulk. Makes it almost like new again. 🙂 Again, excellent quality rugs, especially for dogs and kids.

I’m disappointed that this rug is advertised as 9’ square, as I’d planned on it being that size. Unfortunately, mine is considerably smaller than that, at 8 feet, 8 inches square! That’s quite a bit off. Had I known they were so far off the true measurement, I would have purchased the 10’ square instead. Not a bad looking rug, though. It came folded, but I unfolded it right away and laid it flat, and it seems OK after adding furniture on top. Would have given 5 stars had the measurements been accurate. I looked again at the ad to see if I just missed something, but the ad mentions 9’ square in multiple places, and even mentions that it is 10” thick, which is absurd. UPDATE a couple of weeks later: I originally gave this 1 star because I was so disappointed that the size was not accurately reported on their info pages. I do wish they'd take more care in this area, but I am updating this from 1 star to 3 because I am impressed with the overall quality of the rug. While I still think they need to give accurate sizes since some of us plan on that, and being 4 inches off on length and width is unacceptable, the quality and feel of the rug are indeed nice, and mine did flatten out rather quickly, so I gave two more stars for that. If the listers are reading this review: please report accurate sizes of your rugs!
