Beautiful rug. Easy on the eye, but not the feet. I would warn of 2 things. Number one if you’re unsteady on your feet at all, use a cane. This is not the rug for you as it is not flat it has raised design. That’s beautiful, but not very good for someone walking with a cane. Number two if you’re sensitive to odor, this is not the rug for you when you first unwrap it and lay it down. It has a very distinct odor. I would call it almost like a burlap smell sure it will go away. It’s not so offensive to me, but I can see how it would bother some people. You ask why I don’t send this back. It’s too much of a hassle for me. I would need someone to help me do it wrap it up and I just don’t have anyone to help me so I’m going to keep it as my options are limited. Again, let me say it. It’s a beautiful rug and the company that makes it. I bought many of the rugs and I’ve never had an issue. I should’ve just been more careful before purchasing. ... show more

We purchased the 6' round rug and also the runner. These rugs are beautiful! High quality. Both rolled out mostly flat too. I didn't have to put heavy objects on them to get them to flatten out. The only thing I'd say that could be of concern to someone (not me though) is, the rugs are textured. Meaning, the design is a bit raised and could be perceived as "bumpy" to some. I don't know who this would matter to, maybe someone with foot problems or pain in their feet. I have zero complaints however. ... show more

Absolutely beautiful rug! The colors will go with everything. Love the dimensional weave of the leaves, and the pattern between them. Was looking for a wood rug that would have enough pattern without being a floral. I purchased a felt pad for underneath. It will see a lot of traffic, so, I hope, it will last as long as its predecessor. I am a wool rug lover. I find they clean well and allergies are at a minimum. ... show more

I have dogs and children and needed a rug that was low maintenance and easy to clean. I like that the gradient has varied effect so it will not show mess. My vacuum can catch dirt and the rug stays put on a tile floor. I will admit I do have a dining table on top of it. The leaf pattern is nice and it lifts up. When you walk on it you will feel it. If you are looking for a flat surface, this may not be it. It does not shed and the edges stay down. I feel It is average thickness. ... show more
