    • A true rug! thick and sturdy
Size: 2'6" x 10' (Runner) Color: Black/White
Review Image by Lorie L.
This rug is beautiful! And for the price it’s great. I’ve ordered three others and they were cheaply made, this is a true thick sturdy rug. I love it. Don’t hesitate to order. The starburst is more light grey than white. It kinda looks lighter on picture but it’s a lovely addition to my living room.

    • The quality is outstanding
Size: 2' x 3' (Rectangular) Color: Light Teal/Multi
I love this brand of rugs. I have ordered several others. Always thicker than expected. Colors are exactly as shown. Quality is 100%. Very happy.

    • Nice rug with some inconsistencies

It looks for the most part as advertised. It is nice and dense and feels good underfoot. I bought it to match my purple wool rug, however, the color was off by quite a bit. It has a bit of a tan cast. This I discovered after vacuuming is most likely due to the dirt that came up. I saw comments about the fibers getting pulled and shedding and decided to video the first vacuuming to put it to the test. Others are correct, the fibers did pull at the first pass. To be fair, the shedding is not uncommon in wool rugs and should get less wih each vacuuming. I still like the rug and will keep it but I will have to replace sooner than later. I do feel a price adjustment is appropriate for the difference in color as well as needing to have it cleaned. ... show more

    • True to its picture and description
Size: 6' (Round) Color: Brown/Multi
This is one of the most unique rugs I have seen. I have been shopping for an area rug for living room area for months (both in-store and online) and came across this one online. I was hesitant to buy a rug online but after reading many positive reviews on a variety of sites that sell this particular rug, I purchased it. Amazon had the best prices online for this same rug (hundreds less compared to some other sites). Once it arrived (within a couple days) its quality and uniqueness was far beyond my expectations and is one of the best purchases I have made. The colors are vibrant against the dark brown base and the shag style of the bursts enhances its appeal. Everyone compliments it when they see it. I bought the 6x9 and like it so much I am purchasing a larger one as well for my dining room. It can really accent a number of decorating styles. Also, I have vacuumed it and have had no issue with the shag pieces coming out. ... show more

I love it!! It is true black and white. It is about medium thickness - very nice.

    • Best for low traffic areas
Size: 7'6" x 9'6" (Rectangular) Color: Light Blue/Multi
I love the look of this rug - it is perhaps a bit more textured in the sunbursts than I expected (they stick up between 1/2 inch to 1 inch above the surface of the rug) but it's thick and the colors are nice. Being wool, it sheds a lot. I am also finding that the sunbursts are made of unfinished lengths of a material that unravels every time I vacuum and I have resorted to trimming the resulting long strings with scissors. I am planning to move the rug from my living room to my bedroom in hopes that less traffic will mean less maintenance. ... show more

    • Fantastic quality - beautiful design!
Size: 5' x 8' (Rectangular) Color: Light Blue/Multi
I bought this for my 15-year-old granddaughter who just got her own room after the family bought a new house. I was looking for something that could grow with her, that would fit her now, and would also work for her as she grew up. I just got back from visiting them and this rug is absolutely beautiful (so great looking I'm thinking about changing the color scheme in at least one of my rooms so I can get one!). Because it is wool, I know it will last for many years. And both she and my daughter love it. In fact, my daughter has already begun hinting. The design is subtle and very beautiful and the feel of the rug is great. My daughter was very surprised that this was wool with how soft it is. I will buy more of the rugs by this compeny and, if Safevieh is the designer, I will definitely be looking for designs by this designer! By the way, the price and speed of shipping is also superb! ... show more

    • This area rug SHEDS!
Size: 8'3" x 11' (Rectangular) Color: Light Blue/Multi
I was so excited when I received this area rug. It arrived promptly from Amazon and I loved the design. I put the area rug in my living room on a hard wood floor. I noticed that there was some lint on the rug, so I vacuumed it before use. Several days later I started to notice light blue lint and carpet fiber all over my hard wood floors. When I examined the rug closely, I could tell the problem was more serious. If I rubbed the rug with my fingers or foot, the carpet fiber quickly pulled away from the rug. I vacuumed the rug again to see if this would fix the problem. (My vacuum almost clogged up from the amount of lint that came up.) Within a day light blue lint began to cover my hard wood floors again. (I have two small dogs, and they don't shed this much!) I immediately contacted Amazon and am now in the process of returning the rug. As much as I love the design, the rug appears to be defective. I'm not sure if I just got a bad rug, or if this is simply how the rug is made. Either way, I wouldn't recommend buying this. ... show more
