The media could not be loaded. This is a really fantastic rug. The main part is plush and really soft, and the ribbon patterns are gorgeous and the texture aspect really unique. The colors are really beautiful, both in the ribbons and in the ombre effect on the main part of the rug. The rug arrived wrapped in plastic and then wrapped in an even stronger plastic, so I appreciated that it was well protected during transit. One odd note - there must be something about the materials that makes it act like catnip to cats. My cat rolled around on it obsessively for a good 15 minutes after she discovered it. There was some dust upon opening and I could tell it was irritating her ears and nose, so it might be best to keep your pets away from it until either you air it out or let it sit for a few days (my cat found it several hours after I had opened it and she was still reacting to it). I do think that some pets will be drawn to the ribbons and attempt to pull/close them out. My cat definitely tried right away and pulled one out. But I checked some others but pulling on them loosely and they seemed well embedded. My only sadness... I think the rug is a bit too small for my space and there's a $200 difference between the 6'x6' rug versus the 8'x8' rug. Which likely puts the larger rug outside my budget. So I'm not quite sure what to do now. ... show more

I really want to love this rug! Unfortunately, as beautiful as it is, I asked salute Lee hate the way it sheds like crazy! I also hate that when I got it and unrolled it, there were clear indications it had never been cleaned before it was shipped or packaged. I’m not sure what that was that was on it it seems like some sort of adhesive or some thing it’s took a bit of work to get it off. In several spots however, the other issue I have with it is the fact that I have nervous, vacuuming it, because the firework design of the threading seems to easily come right out of the rug. I keep looking down seeing pieces of the design, just laying there even just from walking on it. I am afraid that after some time has passed a great deal of that threading that makes up the design will have come out and be missing. I am hoping they will stop coming a loose, but I doubt it. I had to take pictures from different angles to show off the entirety. I am absolutely in love with this rug. It is unbelievable soft and you can tell right away it is high quality. This is my first time buying a “expensive big girl rug” (aka not something target sells in their section of dorm furniture) and I am so glad I decided on this one. There are no cons but let me give some of you a heads up: this thing is a beast. I mean I’m typing this with my arms shaking from hauling this thing upstairs and getting it under my bed. Definitely a two person job if you are trying to pull it under other furniture. But all worth it in the end! ... show more

Was very happy to receive this ACCURATELY described rug. It does shed a lot but less each time..client using it in a sunroom and it's simply gorgeous. High quality feel and it has weight. They have lots of windows but no sunlight shining on this item, important to know.
