Original rug arrived last week. For some reason the two shorter sides of the rug are not bound and are basically raw cut edges. The two longer sides are bound as they should be. I initiated a replacement with Amazon and a new one arrived today. Same exact problem! I contacted Safavieh directly only to be told I had to put my request in writing via email and Attach photos. We love the design but why would this manufacturer leaves the ends cut and not bind them? I have attached pictures so you can see. This was the 6'7" x 9'2" rug. Safavieh states the rugs come directly from them. And pictures in Amazon listing show binding on all 4 sides. Both rugs going back until I hear back from company. ... show more

I've had the 9'×12' rug in "Light Grey/Blue" for a few years now and have been really happy with it (in attached photo). The color looks just like the picture advertised, a very light gray base with aqua and light beige accent. The colors are super soft and airy, and the beige is pale enough to almost blend in with the light gray. Then the beige framing/borders of the pattern is a bit darker. Well, we moved into a new house with more space, so I ordered another one to match, this time 11'x11', for a connected room. This one arrived WAY darker than the first rug (and featured picture in the listing). It also seemed MUCH more brown than gray. Having lived with the rug of the correct color for 3 years now, all I could think when I saw the new one, was that it looked like ours if it had been in a smokers home for 50 years and never washed! It had a dark, dingy, dirty look that never would have worked for us. I wish I had taken a picture of the second rug, but I NOPED out so hard as soon as I saw it that I wrapped it right back up and returned it. The colors were soooo different, that they would only look good in opposite types of spaces. So it's a huge gamble to hope you get the right one. It's a shame because I love our current rug. It's well made, soft (but not cushy), doesn't shed, and uses the colors we planned around. I really wish I could have another one sent, in 11×11, in the correct color? Maybe the manufacturer could reach out to me if they see this. ... show more

Really hesitated on purchasing due to all the concerns about the edging. This rug has identical edging on all 4 sides. Would be wise for company to put that issue to rest if they have changed how they finish this rug. It’s beautiful. Super bargain too. I was thinking of buying a remnant then paying to have it edged that would have been way more expensive! Don’t hesitate buy this rug ... show more

I paid twice the amount as this rug for an authentic wool rug. After months of constant wool fiber shedding and vacuuming, vacuuming, vacuuming!!! My wife said enough is enough. We bought this rug and I have been thoroughly impressed. It has a great look, great feel, doesn’t shed, and after a few months (with a chocolate lab and four kids) in a high-traffic area, it still looks brand new! Happy wife, happy life... ... show more

I bought the 2' x 6' runner and loved the colors and feel of it but it ended up being a little short for my hallway. Also, it only had two medallions instead of three like in the picture. This looked really odd to me and was almost enough to return just for that. But I did need a longer rug anyway and found the 2' x 8' runner in the same pattern on overstock for a bit cheaper. That one did have three medallions. The rug from Amazon was very nice though. All sides were bound and the pile is short but plush and very soft. I was really helped by another reviewer who said the colors in it could compliment beige or gray and I found that to be true as well. The colors are true to the picture: dark gray, turquoise and beige. Over all it's a great rug but I took off a star for the two medallions instead of three. Maybe it wouldn't bother you like it did me though :) ... show more
