I have always loved rag rugs, my apartment bathroom is fairly large but I needed to brighten it up. These rugs fit the bill. I had room for 2 3x5 rugs. T didn't want run of the mill "bathroom rugs ". I like these. I bought two for either side of guest bed. They shift when walked on because they are light. But I purchased large enough to anchor under bed legs so they stay put. They are attractive and look well made for an updated version of a rag rug. They are inviting to walk on in your bare feet. This rug isn't soft, but that's perfectly alright with me. It's a great value and looks SO NICE---upscale, even---in front of our bathroom's double vanity. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner :)

I have a baby and a dog. So when I started searching for a rug for our living room where our baby hangs out and plays, I had 2 main requirements: machine washable and natural fibers (NO polyester). At $61, this rug is pretty unbeatable. To top it off it's thick enough to give my baby's head a little protection from falls as he's learning to get up. I take one star off because it is truly, truly nasty when it arrives. It is STINKY. They include a note saying to just air it out. Heck no, this thing smelled like putrid dirty laundry. I have a large capacity washer. I washed it once on the heavy duty cycle (basically 2 cycles at warm water) and then an extra normal cycle. The water in the washer was BROWN. And I can tell why it's so nasty, this thing is made of rags. Ok. So good for the environment, but naaaastty boy. After the washes, water was coming out clean and it smelled fine, so I popped it in the dryer using low heat. Rug looks beautiful and smells clean now. No shrinking or damage! ... show more
