I could not be happier with this rug! I purchased the Silver color and it's pretty much as pictured. Med/dark gray one way, light gray/silver the other. It has a beautiful sheen and the texture is just so, so soft. As soon as we put it down, my ten year old did a snow angel on it! As with any area rug, when we unrolled it, it was curled at either end. A quick flip and reverse roll straightened it out in seconds. This rug on top of room carpeting so it has plenty of padding, but if you're putting this on a hard floor, definitely consider a pad underneath as the backing of this rug is rather thin (and I imagine it would slip around on a smooth surface.) It seems to be well made and the fibers (strings? I don't know what the technical term) seem very well attached to the backing. Awesome rug at a great price. Definitely recommend. ... show more

I agree with what most positive reviewers are stating. It sheds a tiny bit as do all shag carpets but not excessively, yes you need to weigh down the edges and it does smell a bit for a few days. It's very silky and luxurious and gives a high impact for a fairly low price. The silver is beautiful; the colour varies as the nap lifts but is not metallic or cheap-looking, just lustrous. Because it's so large and HEAVY (I bought 10x14), I ordered a sample 2x3 to try it out and returned it for full refund when I ordered the correct size. Full size is even nicer than the sample. I don't think the large size needs an underpad as it doesn't slip around and is plush and the binding doesn't show on larger sizes but smaller sizes will definitely have issues on both counts. You do feel the plastic lumps that encase the tufts so 1/8" or 1/4" underpadding may help a bit if you walk barefoot on it. I suggest you wait and try it first before ordering underpadding as good ones are kind of expensive. As happy as I am with the carpet, I'm dismayed that 2 weeks later it's listed for over $150 less than I paid! I'm hoping I can get a price adjustment. ... show more

Omg sooo I loved this 5x7 titanium rug So much I ordered 3 more 🤣 I have sable 8x10 ,2 titanium, and 4x6 ivory. Sable is brown with cream threads. I bought this one first thinking it was grey tone it’s definitely not. Titanium is a dark charcoal blue hue grey (my fav) , ivory is off white so if your are wanting pure white this ain’t it. It has yellow hue such as the name Ivory. There is another shag by Safavieh that has pure white and very fluffy but I can’t recall the name. The pile height isn’t extreme on this one and it has a silky feel. There is absolutely NO cushion to this rug alone you will need a rug pad. To save money I bought a 1 inch thick memory foam mattress pad from Walmart online for like 10 and cut it 1in smaller than the actual rug. Believe I bought twin and queen sizes pad. Saved myself a lot by doing that. (Some mattress pad are expensive.)Problem solved! It feels amazing to walk on now. This rug is stylish and classy. Definitely recommend! Only thing I did notice is this rug looks better in larger sizes like 5 by 7 and 8by 10 as a whole. Probably it’s has to do with the pile height and slick texture. My 4 by 6 is still beautiful but since it’s smaller it need a thicker shag to it for it to really work ..if that makes sense. This is 5 by 7 would suggest 5by 8 or larger for living room. The media could not be loaded. Feels luxurious under bare feet, however, because the shag strands are silky and super thin, you can also feel the hard floor through it. I still love the wow factor enough to keep it but I will be getting a pad to put under it.

I just got this rug this morning and I'm thrilled! It is exactly as I expected. I was looking for a rug that would fit my rustic contemporary feel but would also make my living area feel cozy. It looks very high end, is very soft, and only very minimal curling on the one end. I expect it will be flattened out in a few days with weight on it. I was hesitant to pick a rug that was just one color, and this one looks either brown, gray or silver depending on the light. I also ran my shark vacuum over it on the carpet setting to fluff it up and experienced no shedding, nor did it get caught up in the vacuum brush. I'm extremely pleased. Looks very high end, and a great value. I do agree with the other buyers, it isn't very thick, so I just left my old rug underneath and that thickens it up nicely and provides slip prevention. ... show more

After reading many negative reviews I was skeptical about purchasing this rug. There were many horror reviews about the rug not being anything close to what was pictured or described. The one thing I didnt see were any pictures or evidence proving how bad this product was. Me being the stubborn guy that I am decided to go against common sense thinking and I ended up purchasing the rug. Let me say I couldn't have been more surprised or happy with the quality, color, softness,texture of this rug. I agree it doesn't look like the picture, I honestly think it looks better in person in my opinion. I've attached a few pictures to give an idea to those interested on what to expect. I am very pleased with this purchase and would do it again in I a heart beat. If I had to be picky and list a con the only thing I would say is its quite thin. I would recommend placing some padding underneath but other than that. Great buy! ... show more
