Love this rug! It’s a beautiful addition to my bedroom. It take a little while to finally lay out and I had to put bricks on the tighter end that was rolled up for it to look better but a small price to pay for having it brought right to your door!

I'm writing a short review hoping another buyer doesn't make the same mistake and deal with the hassle of returning a large area rug. First, the quality of these rugs for the price is A+ so if you find the right color - I'd highly recommended purchasing a Safavieh, no question. But, their coloring system is a little bonkers. Each style has its own color name even though it's often the same material. I struggled between the Paris Shag in "Ivory" and the Venice Shag "Pearl" as photos from Safavieh and reviewers are inconsistent. The challenge with both of these high-sheen rugs is that light is going to reflect different shades of the same color so variations are to be expected. However, in the case of both Ivory and Pearl -- to me they are much closer to a creme than white. My photo shows a $2K rug that I'm trying to match; this rug is labeled as "Natural" -- not pure white. Depending on the direction of the light, will look ivory / pearl. I've put my wife's jewelry up to it to confirm that Safavieh's naming system isn't accurate. When you compare that rug with Safavieh's Ivory, it's clear that Ivory looks very creme and almost pinkish under morning sunlight. I'm reordering a New Orleans Off-White in hopes that it will be closer to the Natural that I'm trying to match from a high-end dealer. All-in-all a great rug manufacturer and very high quality but their coloring system is hard to judge online. ... show more

Omg sooo I loved this 5x7 titanium rug So much I ordered 3 more 🤣 I have sable 8x10 ,2 titanium, and 4x6 ivory. Sable is brown with cream threads. I bought this one first thinking it was grey tone it’s definitely not. Titanium is a dark charcoal blue hue grey (my fav) , ivory is off white so if your are wanting pure white this ain’t it. It has yellow hue such as the name Ivory. There is another shag by Safavieh that has pure white and very fluffy but I can’t recall the name. The pile height isn’t extreme on this one and it has a silky feel. There is absolutely NO cushion to this rug alone you will need a rug pad. To save money I bought a 1 inch thick memory foam mattress pad from Walmart online for like 10 and cut it 1in smaller than the actual rug. Believe I bought twin and queen sizes pad. Saved myself a lot by doing that. (Some mattress pad are expensive.)Problem solved! It feels amazing to walk on now. This rug is stylish and classy. Definitely recommend! Only thing I did notice is this rug looks better in larger sizes like 5 by 7 and 8by 10 as a whole. Probably it’s has to do with the pile height and slick texture. My 4 by 6 is still beautiful but since it’s smaller it need a thicker shag to it for it to really work ..if that makes sense. This is 5 by 7 would suggest 5by 8 or larger for living room. I bought this same exact rug several years ago. Loved it. So I ordered another one. The quality is not the same as the old one. It's slippery and not the same cozy feeling as the old one. The rug depth is short around the edges so the backing shows through. Also the backing edge color is white. The brown shag does not cover it well. ... show more

I order lots of things from Amazon and I’m somewhat lax about writing reviews but this rug is so extraordinary I must share it . I was hesitant to order a rug just because you can never be sure of the color and if it’s going to “fit” in your home .But this rug far exceeded my expectations . This rug is gorgeous .. it is Hollywood glamorous . The ivory color glows with just the slightest hint of champagne golden I wish I could describe how beautiful it is . I have never had a rug that was so beautiful . Now it’s a shag long haired and it sheds just a little but after a few vacuums that lessens and . I would not recommend this color if you have toddlers or young children .. it’s the kind of rug that shouldn’t be inhabited by men in work boots or Toddlers /children eating on This color makes you want to take off your shoes before stepping on it . We take off our shoes inside so it’s ok . But aside from that , if you”re looking for glamorous it’s every bit of that . ... show more
