I needed a really large rug for a really large, naturally decorated room. I like the rug because it’s a good fit, and matches my decor. Not too soft though, especially on feet without shoes. It’s does shed quite a bit, especially at first, and traps dirt in the crevices. If you have a cat with claws, their claws will get stuck and pull at it. I would NOT RECOMMEND this carpet! It’s beyond disgusting. It’s so hard to clean, and it doesn’t stop dropping dirt from within it! It’s like it’s has a bound of dust and dirt within each knot...🤢🤢 I laid this carpet out on white tile and decided to change the location of it the day after, and I was shocked!!! I had never seen that much dirt, it looked like I hadnt moved that carpet in years! It took me an hour or so to clean the dirt off the tile! 🤢 what a waste of money. The knots come off and start to look shaggy after a few weeks, and normal vacuuming makes it worse. Save your money get something else ... show more

This is the worst rug I've ever purchased. As soon as I opened the package, there was dirt everywhere. It's difficult to walk on ... the texture feels like an old door mat used for scrubbing the dirt from your shoes. Also, there are dangerous bits of metal sticking out of this rug. I'd recommend avoiding this rug if you're planning on walking on it without shoes. ... show more

I ordered this rug twice. The first time, I got a 10x10 square. It was beautiful and despite being made of natural fibers, there were very few abnormalities in the weaving. However, I returned it because i realized I needed a slightly bigger rug. The second one I ordered was a 10x14. As others have described, this rug came with a considerable amount of dirt, twigs, and even a leaf and a small rock. I did the same thing I did with the first one: opened it in my garage first, and vacuumed it out there instead of inside my house. The first rug wasn't that dirty, but I had to empty my vacuum twice on the second rug. The second rug is also has a considerable amount of abnormalities in the weaving. Tons of undone loops and frayed fibers. It is not nearly as well made as the first rug, and is definitely not as soft as the first rug. The first rug was also a little glossier looking, and the second is dingier. I don't know why there is such a drastic difference in quality between these two different sizes of this same rug. I'm still debating whether or not I'm going to return the second larger rug at this point. ... show more

Love this rug, however I'm a bit confused. I'm thinking this might be a used rug because after only 2 days on my hardwood floors I picked up a corner to vacuum and the floor was filled with sand...all under the rug...lots of sand! I'm pleased to see that you're interested in my opinion because I had planned to contact Amazon to complain. Love the rug but it is full of sand....I'm concerned that the sand could ruin my hardwoods. ... show more

Purchased this rug for our new house. Of course I was nervous not being able to see it, but this rug has exceeded all of my expectations. My husband has gone from, We don't need a rug, to, We need to get protectors for the rug. I'm relieved he even lets me walk on 'his' precious rug. It's a sea grass rug, so it's not like walking on wool, but it's not as scratchy as others. The weave is beautifully chunky, and the neutral colors are just perfect.
