I love this texture of rug, pottery barn had the same with bigger knots and supper expensive, like 600 for 5*8. This rug was 250ish and I waited until it reduced to 160ish and I bought it. I don’t regret. I know if I sit on it, the wool sticks on me but I don’t care. I checked the rug many times for bedbugs and I didn’t see anything. Come on, this rug is 70% wool and made in India. I guess pottery barn is 30% or 40% wool! I guess 160 worth the price. Havent yet vacuumed it and I will keep you updated. ( two of pictures are from my IKEA assembly but I wanted to show you the texture) Haven’t yet see any sheddings bc 1- i didn’t vaccum 2- i have a carpet! ( ugly one) ... show more

This is a fantastic area rug! It is an amazing value for the rug (10x14) and even more amazing is that it is wool. It is super soft, the color mildly variegated (Silver), and exactly what I was hoping to find but didn't think I would (a neutral rug with texture). It is softly modern and looks quite expensive - Arhaus type look and feel. We did vacuum it immediately to get the stray strands off and shedding isn't a problem - nor is there anything noticeable on yoga pants. Being wool, I look forward to having this rug for many many years. I am thrilled to have purchased this rug and recommend it highly. Oh and the last picture is of the back of the rug. I realized, if ever needed, I could flip it over and have a new rug! ... show more

    • Expect a lot of shedding for some time

This rug does start looking a little ratty every once in a while. BUT wool rugs are known to SHED for up to 6 MONTHS, I’m sure MORE OR LESS depending on specific designs. Having said that, I vacuum it a couple times a week and the vacuum acts almost like a lint shaver. It looks better afterwards. We’re on month 5 & I have noticed it doesn’t shed as much! Still sheds tho…I love how it looks overall, it’s got a casual modern feel and fits our Scandinavian style perfectly. We have hardwood floors and this rug is a nice and soft relief on your feet. I plan to wash it once every summer, it’s huge so it’s going to be interesting, not easy I suspect. ... show more

I purchased the 9 x 12 rug in silver for my bedroom beneath a king size bed. It feels super soft. I’m impressed with the quality of the wool. I’m expecting it to shed a bit, as this is what wool rugs do, especially when new.

Bought this for my laundry room & it’s super comfy. Only drawback is that it’s a tad thick so the doors won’t go over it to close. When the washer/dryer is running I just push it back. I have dogs/cats/teenagers and was worried it would snag and it hasn’t.
