It is a soft rug and I really like the color and texture a lot but I guess I didn’t expect it to be as wirey looking as it is. It will absolutely shed all over you when you open it. This is a beautiful area rug! *Positives: -It's a soft wool material. -The texture is great...it keeps it from looking like an ordinary, plain rug. -The sizing was accurate. -The color is a true ivory (no yellows, gray or brown hues). Keep in mind that the stitching is black throughout. I was concerned about this at first. However, it completely maintains a neutral, calming and cohesive look. *Only negative: -It's challenging to clean without causing damage. Overall, I would purchase this rug again, and without any hesitation. However, I'm using it in a room with very little "traffic". It's not an area rug that I would recommend using in "high- traffic" areas! It can only handle light vacuuming, or parts of the rug "pull up" (and there's not a way to get those areas integrated back into the rug). ... show more

This gave the perfect touch of warmth to our kitchen floor. I knew we needed a runner and this fits the space perfectly. It is sooo durable and thick, providing a good quality rug option. Typically rugs like these aren’t very soft but this one is so soft under the feet! It does pick up dirt/dust easily, but ours gets vacuumed often just due to being in the kitchen. I have been on the hunt for a wool rug for my laundry room where the floor is cold all the time. This rug is soft, not as shedding, thick and the perfect size. Also vacuums very well doesn’t get sucked up like most rugs of this style. A few minuses is the smell at first, but that goes away.     • Not as pretty as pictured
This rug is not as pretty as it looks in the picture. I ordered 2 and decided to return them. It was going to cost me $15.87 to return them and I only got one label. It would’ve cost more than it was worth to pay to package both so I decided to keep them. Not happy but didn’t want to lose a lot of money. The fact that it took 3 weeks to get them should’ve been a warning sign. Also there was no warning that it would cost to ship them back that I saw. ... show more
