Features 5
- [DESIGN & PILE]: SAFAVIEH's Montauk rug bands ivory against steel grey across a hand-woven cotton field, and its 1/4" pile is flat and soft underfoot in a living room, bedroom or dorm room.
- [ARTISANALLY HANDCRAFTED]: Hand-woven from cotton at a 1/4" pile, flat and reversible so it can be turned for even wear through high-traffic areas, holding up in an entryway, hallway, home office or laundry room.
- [EASY CARE]: Vacuum without a beater bar and spot-clean with mild detergent and cool water, then lay flat to dry.
- [WHAT TO EXPECT]: Creases relax within a few days laid flat. Band width and placement vary slightly from piece to piece because each is woven by hand. A SAFAVIEH rug pad keeps a flatweave from creeping and adds cushioning.
- [TRUSTED BRAND]: For over a century, SAFAVIEH has been synonymous with exceptional quality and timeless design, a legacy carried through four generations. From New York, we offer rugs, furniture, lighting, and decor to help you design a space you love.
Description
The SAFAVIEH Montauk 330 collection bands color across a hand-woven cotton field in ivory & steel grey, a bohemian coastal stripe with the flatness of a rag rug and a cleaner line. Each rug is hand-woven at a 1/4" pile, low enough to sit under a door and reversible so it can be turned to even out wear. Cotton spot-cleans well and stays soft underfoot, which is what suits it to a room people cross barefoot. Montauk 330 works in a living room, bedroom or dorm room, and layers easily over a larger rug.

Darker than I expected but otherwise what I want
Size: 6' (Round)
Color: Ivory/Anthracite
This fits perfectly under my round table I use it for my quilting machines. This is darker taupe (brown gray) and light brown (tan or beige not ivory), had hoped it was more medium but it’s dark. It does make a nice contrast to my birch floor and oak table. Yes it’s thin it’s cotton so it should be washable (yes it is, it shrinks 15-20%) more like a towel bath mat like hotels often have (not plush, not as soft) and I’ve got a thicker pad underneath to help keep it flat. I do expect it to snag I’ve got cats but this type of weave I’ve found works better than most, very similar to the one I have from a different vendor in my family room dining table. Like the pattern somehow it manages to be neutral modern casual but not too bold, some texture but blends well. For the price and that it’s washable it’s a must for cats, won’t expect it to last more than a few years. If you want something more traditional it’s not at all like a wool rug! The diamond pattern does seem to not be as soft but it has a firmer structure that’s more like a braided rug in that regard although much thinner. I bought a smaller square version and folded it in half for my bath mat, then use a towel Bath mat (hung in between showers) on top. The pattern has different thickness so I had to fold it so the alternate pattern was underneath because of the thickness difference, it felt uneven as a bath mat which does work well. It is less taupe looking against a taupe (brown-gray) tile, more of a charcoal gray and light brown. It really does camouflage a lot of the cat thread pulls and hair balls, better than the lighter patterns I’ve tried. Plan on buying more if available when my present ones need replacement.

Feel the care in crafting
Size: 6' x 9' (Rectangular)
Color: Ivory/Steel Grey
Absolutely loved the feel of this special piece. The cotton feels soft and comfy to the touch and feet. The color and pattern is a perfect contrast against the blond wood tone of the floors and predominantly white furniture beach decor. For the size, this rug is tough enough to withstand the foot traffic, and yet light enough for easy cleaning. It’s an amazing value! I would definitely buy it again.

Nice Rug!
Size: 6' (Round)
Color: Ivory/Anthracite
I like that the rug has darker browns and some black woven in. I just received this rug, so the only negative I have so far is part of the edge of the rug is curling up. Otherwise, the rug looks really nice.

Perfect Neutral Kitchen Runner!
Size: 2'3" x 6' (Runner)
Color: Ivory/Steel Grey
Love this rug! The neutral woven texture is exactly what my kitchen needed it adds warmth and looks high-end. It's very durable and comfortable underfoot. It does need a separate non-slip pad for hard floors, but overall, it's an excellent quality runner for the price. Highly recommend!

Well made
Size: 2'3" x 6' (Runner)
Color: Ivory/Steel Grey
So I give this rug/runner 5 stars because of it being well made and it looks nice for where I need it. However, I bought the ivory/steel gray and I had to double check the label because I'm not seeing what I would consider "steel gray". At first I noticed some thread that looks lavender and almost pinkish, so I was considering returning. But after laying it where I need it, it actually looks really nice and I'm very happy with it. I may even order another. It came well packaged and arrived earlier than expected.

Nice Looking But on the Fence
Size: 2'3" x 10' (Runner)
Color: Ivory/Anthracite
This runner fits in well in my kitchen where I have white cabinetry and a countertop with white background and grey markings throughout. However, it doesn't lie flat, no matter how I pull it horizontally or vertically. The problem is that the edges are not straight but wavy as there are two different patterns and the pattern with checks that is thinner is mostly bowed outward. The result is that the rug buckles. Because the colors work for me, I'm thinking of keeping it. I wanted the 12' long but that's unavailable so went with the shorter 10' length even though my kitchen is quite long. If returning this rug, you'll need to put it in a box. It is wrapped too tightly and should be folded up and shipped in a box not plastic wrap that so's heavy it's hard not to cut the rug to get the rug out.

I'm actually writing a review for once
Size: 2'3" x 8' (Runner)
Color: Ivory/Anthracite
I LOVE this rug! It is so beautiful. I got a runner rug for the kitchen and it makes me happy every time I see it. The texture is absolutely perfect being soft yet sturdy, and the quality is very impressive. Thank you to the hands that made this! Craftsmanship is there for sure and for what I think is a very fair price. I'll be buying another in the future.

Love it
Size: 2'3" x 8' (Runner)
Color: Ivory/Steel Grey
Lays flat. I bought a 1/8 thick runner for underneath. Fits my hallway great & looks wonderful w/my decor. I bought two other brand rugs prior to this one & junked them both cuz they would not flatten out. 3rd rugs a charm.
