Purchased the 12 ft runner and am very happy with it. The color is a bit more marled up close than shown in photos but from a distance looks exactly like the listing (steel gray). It's definitely more of a beige/taupe with ivory than a gray, which is again consistent with listing photos & what I expected. It slides a LOT and will require something underneath to help it stay in place. Feels mildly knobby to walk on given the thicker weave but it definitely seems durable and I anticipate will soften over time. The knobbiness is also nearly irrelevant with a pad underneath. I ordered the 8x10 size and at first I loved it, but it is constantly bunching up and stretching under furniture. Just looks sloppy. I have other flatweave (or blanket) rugs the same size and I've never had this problem! It is too large to put in the washer, and it shows ALL THE DIRT! It is also pretty much impossible to vacuum. There is also a definite purple thread running through it, which could pass for grey, but it's definitely purple. ... show more

Advertised as 9' X 12'. That's pretty much a lie. Barely 8.5' and about an inch short of 12'. Fortunately I can deal with the unexpected shortcoming but this is the third rug from this manufacturer I have bought, this being the most recent replacement for their last two total disasters they sent, and they just cannot seem to get their act together. This one will suffice. I'm tired of dealing with their BS. Will not buy from them EVER again and definitely not recommend this manufacturer to anyone I wish to keep as a friend. ... show more

I am using this rug as a wall hanging over a little curtain rod to cover an electrical panel in a bedroom. Very happy with the quality for that purpose. I think it would work well on the floor for lighter traffic and is tightly knotted. You could clip the rope ends so they don’t get too messy if you use it for that purpose. Looks great! ... show more

This fits perfectly under my round table I use it for my quilting machines. This is darker taupe (brown gray) and light gray, had hoped it was more medium but it’s dark. It does make a nice contrast to my birch floor and oak table. Yes it’s thin it’s cotton so it should be washable (have washed similar ones not yet for this one) more like a towel bath mat like hotels often have (not plush) and I’ve got a thicker pad underneath to help keep it flat. I do expect it to snag I’ve got cats but this type of weave I’ve found works better than most, very similar to the one I have from a different vendor in my family room dining table. Like the pattern somehow it manages to be neutral modern casual but not too bold, some texture but blends well. For the price and that it’s washable it’s a must for cats, won’t expect it to last more than a few years. If you’re want something more traditional it’s not at all like a wool rug! The diamond pattern does seem to not be as soft but it has a firmer structure that’s more like a braided rug in that regard although much thinner. It’s what I wanted because of the firmer structure will be better with cats and it’s machine washable. ... show more

What a fabulous rug! It’s lightweight, it has a very earthy, organic tone to it. Lovely texture and holds up well in high traffic areas. I was curious about how thick or thin this rug would be, and honestly, I think it’s perfect. I have it over carpet to add some texture and warmth to my space and I think it does just that. I bought this to put down on my sectional sofa seat. I have two little dogs who are convinced they are people, each with their favorite part of the sofa. I had looked at sofa covers but all that I saw were ugly, obvious, and provided more coverage than I needed. I wanted something that looked like it was part of the decor but would also protect the couch surface. My sofa is gray velvet and this did the job beautifully. The rug is just the right length and width and matches the sofa. I love the anthracite color — the photos don’t do it justice. I also bought the navy blue and cream, and while I like both, the anthracite is prettier. The only thing that could be improved on is the background “cream” color — it is a little dull, not dingy, but I wish it had a bit more white in it. ... show more
