I’ve been looking for the perfect affordable runner for a DIY stair runner and am EXTREMELY happy with this pick! Purchased 2 thirteen-foot runners in Black, and honestly I bought way more than I needed, but I guess we’ll have extra if anything gets damaged. Looks and feels great and was easy to maneuver into place during installation. Consistent product made splicing 2 together pretty easy. The ends do fray quite a bit when cut, which was expected, but some tape helped keep it in place long enough to get it folded and stapled down. Love the size of the rug but it is on the thinner side so a nice think pad is recommended. Also, I purchased the gray but it looks more beige/tan. The lines appear darker in the photos making it look gray but I assure you it’s not. Overall it still goes with by color scheme so I’m keeping it. It's thin, alright, but I'm OK with thin rugs. And it appears to be a color that will work for us. Unfortunately, it does smell quite musty and I have to let it air outside for a few days before I can see what it looks like in my living room. Five days later it's still outside getting aired out.
