This rug is perfect for a coastal or nautical decor or really any place ready to accept a bold stripe. The rug has been flat since day one and yet I would suggest a non skid rug pad underneath as this rug could be slick if on some surfaces. The navy is a great shade of blue and the white stripe is almost white without glaring white. More off white than beige or cream. I wouldn’t suggest this rug for an entryway or a heavy traffic area because the white might be hard to clean as it does show all the dirt and hides nothing. The rug itself is BEAUTIFUL and I love it. I want to warn people it gets dirty very quickly. It was in our nursery (not a "high traffic" area) and, while I can get spots out with dawn and warm water, that just created lighter "clean" spots wherever I spot cleaned it. To have it professionally cleaned is ~$200 (I checked with two different companies), and it has to be cleaned off-site, because cotton flat-woven rugs can't be cleaned in your home. I had the cleaner use Teflon carpet protector on it, so hopefully that will prevent it from getting too dirty. Included photos of before and after it got so nasty. ... show more

Product is cheap, the rug ran and has discoloration after washing it, I contacted the seller the were not concerned about what happened with this rug after washing it, which tell me me that they are aware of what happened to this rug after washing. I was told to submit pictures of the wrong and someone would contact me after reviewing the picture of the rug, for the price of $24 dollars I expected a high quality made rug. Purchased this as a kitchen rug because it said “ good for high traffic areas.” I do take much of the blame, because it is black and white (white being a bad idea for any rug where humans live), but after just 2 days in the kitchen (and in a “ no shoesin the house” home), it looks dirty . And it curls up unpleasantly around the edges ( there’s a big label on the other side, so flipping it over isn’t an option).
