This is a beautiful rug! It’s thick for going over carpet and doesn’t bunch up under a heavy coffee table. I love the color and it looks softer than a picture can capture. It rolled out nice and flattened quickly.

I was truly impressed when I received this rug. It is heavy and lays flat the moment you remove it from the package. It is true to color. It is so thick and soft under my feet. The weave is very tight but somehow so soft. If you need a high quality rug, buy this one! It is gorgeous!

I was REALLY trying to like this rug- and even tryinf to convince myself to love it. I grabbed my mom a really nice wool rug a few years back that was sooooooo plush! And bt that i mean squishy under foot and co comfy to lay on, get down on the floor with babies/kids etc. I bought myself a rug for looks 3 years ago from Nuloom and LOVED the look of it but it was soooooo flat- it was incredibly disappointing for the way it felt. It was time to upgrade and I REALLY wanted something that felt really nice to walk on and spend time on. Talked myself into giving this a whirl even knowing it had reviews about bad shedding. I thought maybe a couple people were over dramatic. This shedding is REALLY bad. Ive vacuumed this 3-4 times since I laid it down yesterday (just for it to be clean) and it sucked up a TON of fibers. Which is fine. But I was STUNNED to see so much on my pants when all I did was kneel down to play with my son earler. I attached a pic so you could see. This photo is just kneeling down for 2 seconds- imagine acrually sitting and playing for a little bit SMH. Also... It DOES feel nice and soft under foot and even on your hands. Plush, squishy- it was about what I expected as far as that goes.... UNTIL I felt it on my skin on my arms/elbows and then I took my shirt off and laid down on my back- ( I hang in a sports bra around the house lol)... This this is INCREDIBLY prickly!!!!! I can't even believe how it can feel so different lol My 5 yr old son said the same thing. I also made my adult sister kneel on it with her pant legs pulled up to make sure I wasnt scrazy and she had the same reaction I did lol Like "Woah"... but not in a good way. Totally unexpected for it to feel so rough and prickly. Im so bummed. I'm likely sending it back soon- after one more rug comes in that hopefully works. Im so sad- I really wanted this to work. I dont know why its gott be so hard to find a 9x12 rug that has a plush feel but not shag (and not paper thin ughhh). Really thought wool would be the answer. Please consider this as an unbiased, honest review and dont take it lightly. For over $400 (after taxes) It could be a LOT better with avoiding these issues. ... show more

I love the quality of this rug! It needed a little time (1.5-2 days) to lay flat a and to get the smell out after being rolled up. Now it lays totally flat, and has a very light smell to it like all wool does. It provides adequate cushion under bare feet on hard floor which is nice. The color is probably aqua, but it looks a little more like a sage to me with a few, well-blended blue streaks which I love! (It looks grey in every photo, but trust me it’s not!) The part I love most is the design! Very intricate and so well done. It is wool so there is some minor shedding (that I honestly don’t notice until I vaccum) and of course the smell of wool.
