Writing review after 9 years of ownership. I am a private soccer trainer and have a son who has won the MLS Next National Championship. The goals have gotten SERIOUS use. Both have recently broken so Im looking for replacements and decided to leave a review at the same time. As the kids have gotten older, I think the wear and tear on the posts (shots above 50 MPH, 14 year old+) became more significant. So I might suggest steering clear if it’s going to see significant older kid/adult use. Total cost worked out to $16 a year so I’m perfectly satisfied and will likely be repurchasing even for my older group and then truly seeing how long they last under older kid punishment. ... show more

Seems like it's made very well. It's very easy to put together and the quality of overall materials seem excellent. Unfortunately, the quality control seems to be lacking a little bit. While the net seems sturdy, mine has area's that are already frayed and make me thing that failure will happen sooner rather than failure. If you get one without quality control issues you've got a solid product! Update: Customer service is excellent, I contacted them regarding the issue and was immediately contacted and a new net was sent out for the goal. Excellent experience. Hopefully they can increase the quality control so they don't have to deal with these issues. ... show more

I bought the 2x3 meter futsal goal. Setup was fine but it is very lopsided. The horizontal dimension is about 3m at the top, but at the bottom it’s only 2m due to the size of the frame. It makes for a weird trapezoidal goal. See the picture how the goal really tucks in at ground level. UPDATE: I'm a fool, the bottom bar does telescope out to make a proper rectangle. ... show more

I bought the 12x6 version. There are other nets out there with this same shape but twice the price and since this had pretty good reviews I thought I'd give it a try. I've had the net for about a week and have put over 1000 shots on goal. Both kids and adults use it so its had heavy use and it's holding up real well. It is designed well to absorb the shock of a hard shot using two anchors towards the front of the goal and elastic cables to anchor it to the ground. We've put a few hard shots of the post and it just bounces off and doesnot appear to effect it structurally. I looked at a few other options that had two poles to keep the goal shape and my neighbor went with one of those but after a few months the goal started loosing its shape. My hope is that since this goal has four poles keeping tension it will hold its shape much longer. If anything changes I'll update my post. One person can put this goal up in less then 2 minutes and take it down equally as fast. It fits nicely in the storage bag and can be carried around. There is some weight to it so I wouldn't want to carry it around for long. That is not a knock on the goal rather just an observation and something I think most people would expect with a 12ft goal. (There are instructions included but it is very self explanatory) One thing that I thought was unusual is that the bar across the bottom of the goal does not sit flush all the way across. Had I read the instructions rather then jumping into it I would have seen that it was by design, my bad. Overall I couldn't be happier with the goal at this point. Purchased this back in March, first time setting it up and the locking pin on one of the bottom corners broke. Didn’t even get to use it, couldn’t return because I used it for the first time in June. Fixed it by buying a new pin, have been using it for about 2 weeks and the Fiberglass poles keep leaving splinters all over my hands. When it’s up it’s good, but it’s a hassle to put together and take about and not to mention parts break easily. For the price I’d just pay and extra $150 for Bownet instead. Can’t belive Carly Loyd would have her name associated with this. ... show more
